Hi I know that some unofficial versions allow you to upload an iso directly, are there any official releases or plugins that allow this?

If so, can someone point me to a guide that explains this? I can't seem to figure it out on my own.

Yes. Use Linuz ISO as your CDVD plugin, press configure, select your ISO image and you're done...
