I'm new here and I'm curious to what would be the best all around plugins and configuration for my Laptop.
Computer: Compaq Persario CQ61
Processor: AMD Athlon 2 Dual-core M300 2.00ghz
Ram: 4 gigs.
OS: Windows 7 home premium x64 edition
GPU: AMD m880g with ATI mobility radeon HD 4200
Dedicated vid mem: 384megs
It depends on the game, but you can start with the following.
Get the latest pcsx beta and the latest plugin pack.
Use gsdx for graphics, this is usually the fastest and the most compatible.
Make an iso of your game and use linuz plugin.
Lilypad is a good pad plugin with a lot of features.
Spu2-X for sound.
How about for ff10-2 never got to finish that.

the settings he said was the best for all games. But let me make this clear. Enable speedhacks option if u need ( but u probably will need it)
for Graphics Plugin configuration, enable native and use windowed, and disable all other options. USe directx10(hardware) if your vga support it.
depends on the game that u want to play..
i never used speedhack on my laptop and works fine for me..
ffx-2 works fine with me on my specs.

Can u get full speed at all situations (battle,boss battle, fmv)?
fmv nope..i got 20-22 fps..
battle and boss battle just fine..
and what place called mie'hen highroad or something i get slowdowns..

Well, if u don't mind, that's the best u could get since it used Intel GMA and speedhacks option is disabled.
