I tried using PCSX2 0.9.6 at windowed mode
When I switched to full screen it ran really fast.
Im just curious isnt it supposed to run faster in window mode?

Even if I click ctrl+alt+del task manager wont show up
as primary window. Windows button wont show up either.
I tried selecting the " Escape Hack" but escape does nothing.
Only choice is to reboot PC.

No, in windowed mode you actually have more to display, not only the graphics in the emulator but the windows, themes, wallpapers, icons etc, and having them ready to display in real time so it's processing more stuff at the same time. This usually isn't that notorious in newer hardware but you have a pretty weak graphics card so using Fullscreen which hides all the other stuff should be faster.

For your problem try enabling the "Safe fullscreen exit on escape" option in Lilipad controller plugin.

last question, how come i get choppy audio in window mode?
same settings as above.

Bad video card so the less it has to display the better, fullscreen will pretty much only display what's needed by the emulator and the rest hides so it's easier on the card giving more speed which looks like your case.

thanks using full screen makes it sort of playable. and the escape hack is working now (as of today)
using latest beta build.
