I've been attempting to run DQ8 on beta build 1888 (couldn't get last official build to work), and while I've had no problem with the framerate, everything is extremely blurry. I've tried it with all the different plugins and can't seem to find a combination to change it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been running at 2048 x 2048 internal res, dx10, 8 bit checked on. I'm just trying to tweak it so I can run it better.

This is what I'm running. If you need any more information, just let me know. Thanks so much for any help.

Ahh, I meant the latest non-beta build I suppose. Anyway, this seemed to help. It was only the fmv's that are blurry at all now. Thank you.

I'm not sure about your blurry problem but i think a 2048x2048 internal res is a bit too much? Try lowering it and check your frame rate again.

Edit. Ooops my bad i thought you said you had frame rate problems and not the other way around. Sorry 'bout that. (But that may be causing problems with blurry FMV... who knows? =S)
He said he had no fps problems so why not have the good graphics?
If you're only at the start of the game, the blurriness is due to the first couple minutes being FMV. You're not looking at real-time graphics, you're looking at a video made with the real-time graphics engine. Stupid, I know.

And yes, 2048x2048 is too high of an internal resolution. Set it to 1920x1200, or whatever your desktop resolution is. Anything higher is superfluous.
Yeah that got me too in DQ8 very stupid to combine fmv's with actual game.
