oh and u should've posted here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Will-PCSX...y-computer
depends on the game you're running.

little advice : use gsdx Dx10 hardware mode to get good results in most cases
thanks guys. but what i'm asking is if i have to run the game in a compactability mode to get it to work. i tried running it normally but non of the settings save after i close it. i'm using win7 64bit.
You have to run it in administrator mode or place it in a folder you have rights to.
Administrator mode (I generally have it in program files)
And if your GPU is weak, disable aero will help. otherwise, no issues
Nah, no need for a compatibility mode.
And like what's been said, always 'Run as administrator' if you installed it in the Program Files directory.
1. change to windows classic
2. select lowest resolution
3. select fullscreen, sometimes in windowed mode, the emulator run pretty fast because it use the
lowest resolution, unlike fullscreen have bigger resolution even u chose the lowest one.
4. ready boost....just try it
Well it only depends on the resolution for the game. (adjusting the gsdx resolution) not your monitor, and that is how the game resolution is changed

ready boost is not needed. Anything more than 2gbs of RAM is unnecessary to pcsx2 in my understanding. And readyboost is an attempt to use a flash drive to mimic RAM
yup... pcsx2 is a CPU Hog , but doesn't eat up much memory resources...

best way to improve performance is to overclock your processor to 3ghz upwards...
