Hi guys! new user here on pcsx2 forums.

I'm running FFX-2 (SLUS 20672) on the new Macbook Pro i7 2.66ghz under Bootcamp (windows 7 x64).
Memory: 4gb Ram
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce Gt 330M

My settings are as follows.
Pcsx2 r1888
Gsdx 2693 (MSVC 15.00, SSE41) 0.1.16
-Direct3d10 (Hardware)
-Interlacing Blend bff
-Native
SPU2-X r2693 1.4.0
-Interpolation 0-nearest
-Disable Effects
-Module: XAudio 2 (recommended)
Speed Hacks
-Default Cycle Rate
-All 3 EE hacks
-Both VU hacks
-VU Cycle Stealing = Slight

I cant get the FMVs to run over 50-53 fps except when i turn up the cucle rate speed hack up 1 notch. However, the FMV will start flickering slowly (Not flickering really...but it'll flicker the brightness) and the audio will skip... :[

Any settings I can change to get that little boost I need to get it right?

Also, I get crashes randomly during battles. It'll first turn the screen blue except for text and then itll freeze. :[

This is what makes the game unplayable for me... Any tips?

Thanks so much guys! let me know if I left out any info.
Speed hacks WILL cause problems and break the game. Try without them.
FMVs of FFX-2 are extremely CPU intensive (probably due to a PCSX2 bug). They are even used for benchmarking, so not much you can do about em (the game only has 3-4 of them in total anyway)
