Hey, I just installed PCSX2 on my computer, and when I go to run FFX off the CD it says that the specified bios is not found. There is also nothing in the bios folder, so how do I remedy this? also, I would appreciate any advice on anything else I might need to do/install in order to make this thing run properly. I'm a newbie to all this stuff, so please explain with simple yet detailed info so I can know what I'm doing. Thank you very much.

ok, I believe I have that taken care of, however, now I am getting an error message: error opening CDVD plugin
First, did you put the "w32pthreads.dll" in the root directory of your PCSX2 (where the .exe is)?

Otherwise, you could try deleting what you have (not your bios) and re-create you PCSX2 directory.
Either you have a cdvd plugin configuration problem or have the ISO mounted in some other program. What's the error in the pcsx2 console output window?
got it all figured out, but the game is running pretty slow, and I believe I've tried all the combinations of sound/graphics plug-ins. Not sure what to do about it.[/quote]

not sure what settings you may be referring to, sorry, I'm not very versed in this area. Unfortunately I'm still running vista.
