I know it isn't the end of the world, but it's frustrating Laugh.

I can run MGS3 fine with Dx9, get 100% Emulation 95% of the time. As soon as I go to Dx10, it crashes randomly; after it does I can't close the window, even if I 'end process'. While it is crashed my keyboard doesn't work. SO i have to reboot, or wait about 5 minutes for it to close and my keyboard work again.

So, ye if anyone could help I would be very grateful. I know it isn't that important, but I would appreciate the extra performance Dx10 brings ^^.

PC Specs:

MSI P35 NEO2-F
C2D E6550 (Overclocked to 3Ghz)
ATi HD4870
2GB RAM
Windows 7 32Bit.

Thanks in advance,
Jaymie.
Pcsx2 version? Plugins and configuration? Settings?

Tried disabled speedhacks? Cause speedhacks tends to randomly crash and freeze the emulator.

Legend. No more crashes. Thanks alot.

While I am here, I have another quick question (I could probably search, but you have been so helpful, worth an ask)

Those black splashes on the textures, is that supposed to be? Is there a fix or what.

Thanks again.
Not to worry, was just the textures. lol.

Thanks again.
they are not normal but there is no way to remove them cause the emulator needs more work on it probably. ofc if you use software d3d everything will work the way it must but your fps will go down by allot. i also get them with any version of the emulator including the latest svn's.

edit: also i hope u use d3d10 now...
