Hi,

I was running the GT4 and on some places (like the licence screen that shows multiple available trials along with the 3D model of a car used in that particular trial), and on the track when in the race where tracks are complex, I do not get 100% framerate. It shows as EE running at 100% and Graphics at 40%. The CPU usage also indicates that it is using 100% of the cores that it uses.

The FPS ranges between 53-55 (NTSC Game). The cpu is Intel i7 920 @ 3.44 Ghz (HT disabled). Should I overclock even more?

Running on SVN 3053 (but this is not about the SVN, this is general..) No speedhacks are enabled.

The question is : what framerates do you people get with which CPUs?
...m8, use search functionality of forum, there is one big thread about GT series & everything is said there...

BTW, ...I have Phenom II almost on 4GHz & get around 90-95% avarge speed...

Cheers...
Something about 3.6ghz and more for your cpu is good enough to play that game at. 60fps.
Sorry dude, at the moment there is no way to get constant 60fps in this game, even if you overclock this i7 to 4GHz. On my config there are few tracks - Tokyo, New York, Hongkong - where fps drops even to 45 sometimes. Anyway to see anything on the screen you still have to set brightness to 0 and then you can't see anything again. Not funny at all.
To midlothian: Yes, i feel exactly the same about the brightness. I tend to play at night and set my screen to max brightness to mitigate, but I would still prefer it to work with the default brightness of 3 though Laugh
