Ok i have...
intel core i3 2.93 ghz
6 gb ddr3 1333mhz
ati radeon 5450 1gb
windows 7 64bit

I've had fps problems before with a previous game (ffx-2) and i was lead to a thread that showed th specifications used for benchmarking and i used the same ones and ffx-2 worked great for the most part and got 50-60 fps most of the time. So is there a magical config for god for war as well?

The becnhmark settings are basically the default ones, show us your settings so we can help better. You might want to check out the big God of War thread and ask there if anything.
