Alright, so I've gone through the Configuration and all that multiple times, getting the right settings and stuff. But when I run the game, it says there was an error creating the .NVM file. Help?

You don't give any information so it's very doubtful anyone can help you.
You need to list: PC specs, Operating System, PCSX2 version, settings, plugins used and game you are trying to run.

Your error is mentioned in the FAQ and is usually because of insufficient rights on the folder you installed PCSX2, or because your user is not an administrator. Either try running PCSX2 as administrator or move it to a folder you have full rights like my documents.

Okay, I moved it to My Documents and now it's just crashing.

And now it's working... but I can't seem to work the menu.
