I have a mid 2007 macbook(white) 2.16 ghz core 2 duo. 2 GB of ram running windows XP. My video card is just the intel gma 450 and i'm running pcsx2 0.9.7 beta with gsdx sse2. I have tried mixing up different settings and I only get 20fps during cut scenes of final fantasy X. When the game starts up though, during the squaresoft logo, i turn off the frame limiter and get up to 250fps. Is there maybe an optimum configuration for all macbooks? Or is there another way to lower the graphics so my computer can keep up with the framerate? thanks!
The only thing you can do to lower the load from your graphics chip (which is what is really limiting you as you correctly found out) would be checking 'Native' in the GSdx configuration
Yes I did that already. Thanks but still not enough. Sad I'll try it out with my YOUNGER brother's macbook PRO lol
it'll run faster but i doubt it will get full speed, also lol mac is shiny.
