Is it possible to quicken PCSX2? I have been playing Kingdom Hearts and PCSX2 goes to like 30% fps. The battle scenes are very slow and same with cut scenes. Is it possible to quicken up? Most of the time it goes up and down from 30%-80% fps. The higher fps does not last long though.
PC specs? PCSX2 version? PCSX2 settings?
All my specs are on this link
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834220705
My PCSX2 version is 9.6.
My PCSX2 settings are GSdx 890 SSSE3 0.1.14, SPU2-X 1.1.0, Gigaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0, DEV9null Driver 0.3.0.
My bios are USA v01 Console.
Use the latest beta and enable speed hacks.

Your cpu is quite slow (3ghz minimum for acceptable speeds) and your gpu isn't good enough.
Weak CPU, extremely weak GPU, laptop...You won't get anywhere with this. Neither the new beta nor speedhacks will render satisfying results for you. Get a real PC or buy a PS2.

or play with the one you already own... Wink

Let's hope he already has a PS2.

To VoldemortRocks:
Get the latest pcsx2 version (r3113) http://pcsx2.net/downloads.php?p=publicbeta
In gsdx check the native box and try out the speedhacks. I'm not sure you will be able to get full speed, but you might get closer than 20fps.
No, a netbook like that will never achieve any playable speed from 3D games.
It should be common sense :/
What is a good laptop I can use then? I just recently bought this and I only have 250 dollars left. I do own a PS2 but I thought it would be nice to do it on the computer. Actually, the first time I used PCSX2 the fps was perfect. It just went down hill from there. I wondered what happened.

It's not a netbook, it's a notebook :/
Netbooks are those small ones with a 1 Ghz singlecore processor and 128 mb ram.
