Full Version: How to tell what the SLUS ID is? & cheats not working

Hi, I have a PS2 ISO. Does PSCX2 have a function where it can tell me what SLUS number it is? Otherwise, how do I get this information?

I have a Pnach cheat file for Persona 3 FES. It doesn't appear to work. The log doesn't say that the cheat file is loaded even though the Enable Cheats option is ticked. So I think the reason the cheat file doesn't work is down to the incorrect SLUS code.

Here's the stuff in the cheat file, extracted here just in case it's wrong somehow. I got it out of the cheat file request thread.

What you have in game title is not how the system recognizes for which game it is for. The name of the .pnach file must have the same CRC as your game. Both CRC and SLXXXXX codes are visible from the PCSX2 console after you run the game
case the file already has the CRC as name:

The most common source of this issue, when everything else matches, the culprit is the "shown extensions for known files" being disabled in the Explorer.
In this case you actually do have xxxxxxxxxx.pnach.txt, although will see only until the .pnach part.

Enable this nonblessed thing for good, should not exist reason to not knowing the complete name... just a bit more of MS turning the user's life easier making it harder...
Thanks for the quick replies. However, where in the log are the SLUS # and the CRC displayed? Below is an extract of my console log. I had a look down where it does the isoOpen, as well as using CTRL+F.

That's a pretty weird log there, you first tried running a PSP game? (considering the path: F:\Users\David\PSP\Persona3-FES.iso) then without closing the emulator tried to load Persona 3 FES ps2 version? Try using Full Boot
