A lot of the time i see people recommending the micro vu recompiler option istead of the super vu option.
Doesnt the supervu option give more fps?
microvu also shows my characters as invisible on cutscenes on tales of the abyss.
actually mcirovu is responisble for hanging, graphics corruption and missing geomatry, but its fine as we have to sacrifice it for better performance or speed..but in supervu....more graphics corruption...lot of missing geomatry, visual errors....dats why supervu decrease the betterment of gaming experience..
Depends. Some games run better with SuperVU,some with MircoVU.You just gotta try and see which one is better for you
microVU is overall more compatible so it's recommended.

you sir, just spouted a load of rubbish
in 9 out of 10 cases (yeh ok im making statistics up, but in more cases) microvu handles games far better than supervu does, it contains less hacks and is overall a better emulation of the VU units. Speed is pretty much the same, so supervu shouldn't need to be used apart from specific games which don't work correctly on microvu, but those games are few in numbers.
Hmm i wonder if anyone else uses supervu for tales of the abyss.
Since microvu makes characters missing and stuff for me. I wonder if anyone else has that problem
Are you using speed hacks with that game as well? Try it without them first.
If the invisible characters problem remains, it is a bug we didn't notice yet.
Screenshot of a scene would be nice then.
Looks more like you set the clamp modes too low there or something else.
Depends on your definition of better... I finished tales of the abyss with microVU without much of a problem except for some GSdx bugs
Yea, those are wrong clamp modes. I assume it's set to none for 2fps more.
