just wondering what the best settings are that I could use for each plugin (everything already works fine but I would still like to have it run at its best)

RAM: Corsair XMS3 Classic 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz CL9 DIMM, Optimized for Core i7 Extreme Edition (TR3X6G1333C9)
MOTHERBOARD: Asus P6X58D Premium Socket 1366 Intel X58 + ICH10R Chipset CrossfireX / 3-Way SLI Triple-Channel DDR3 2000(o.c.)/1600(o.c.)/1333/1066Mhz 2x PCI-Express 2.0 x16 Dual GigaLAN 8-CH HD Audio 2x SATA 6Gb/s + 6x SATA 3.0Gb/s USB 3.0 IEEE1394 ATX
PROCESSOR: intel i7 920
GFX CARD: GeForce GT 240 1024MB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Can't be much help here tbh. Different games function better on different settings >.>
The best settings is what you consider to be best after trying out each setting on a particular game xD
Config--> Plugin/BIOS Selector --> Plugins
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GS Plugin
GSdx 3623 SSE4

If you get Screen Shake in a game, set interlacing to "Blend bff (slight blur, 1/2 fps)". Otherwise, set Interlacing to None.

Ignore "D3D internal Res". Instead, use either 2x Scaling or Native.
Your system should be able to handle up to 3x or 4x scaling easily with most games.

Leave Experimental HW AA at Zero.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SPU2 Plugin
SPU2-X 3628

Most games prefer Time Stretch Mode.
Others like Async Mix.
I just leave this to TimeStretch, so I don't break anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can get GSdx 3623 and SPU2-X 3628 from the
"Windows Plugin update pack, August 2010" [Link to the download page]
=======================================================

Config --> Emulation Settings --> Window
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aspect Ratio
Normally, just leave it at Standard (4:3)
Only switch it to Widescreen (16:9) for games that support it,
such as Star Ocean 3 and Final Fantasy 12.
16:9 PS2 Game List [LINK]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
vsync
Disable vsync for speed.
Enable it to remove screen tearing.
Some games will play extremely slow with vsync enabled, while others like it just fine.
Some game's FMVs play jerky with vsync on, while others play jerky with it off.
Ya have to experiment with this on a per-game basis.
=======================================================

Config --> Emulation Settings --> Speedhacks

Leave EE Cycle Rate and VU Cycle Stealing at Zero.
Only increase them as a last resort, as they often do more harm than good. You are better off overclocking that nice CPU you have to 4 GHz than messing with these two settings.

You probably won't need any speed hacks for most games with your system, but there are three of them that have [Recommended] in their description. They are pretty good and stable with most games.
=======================================================

Config --> Emulation Settings --> Game Fixes

The VU Add Hack is needed for the following Games:
Star Ocean 3, Radiata Stories and Valkyrie Profile 2.

The EE Timing Hack is needed for
Digital Devil Saga, SSX and Resident Evil: Dead Aim.

The other gamefixes are self explanitory.
Leave these off for any game that does not need Game Fixes.

I think that sums up the basics. Happy
thank you very much for your thurough post i appreciate it alot Smile
