I was trying to use it with the multi-tap but it only recognizes 2 controllers in game. I was wondering if there is still some compatibility problems with it, with some games still. I am using 0.9.7 r3878 client.

Did you enable multitap in both the controller plugin (Lilypad) and the emulator?

Then it's probable it's not working so great in the latest beta, try with the PCSX2 0.9.6 stable:

i tried to do that actually but i could not find out where to enable multi-tap on the emulator.

That one should only need you to enable multi-tap from the LilyPad controller plugin.

just tried it again on both to make sure and it only allows 2 ppl with multi-tap enabled. for 9.6 it will not even work if i put all 3 ppl or 2 ppl on the 1b, 1c, 1d controllers. it only works with the main controller pads 1 and 2.

9.7 actually worked for just 2 controllers but they could be 2 on any of the extra pads enabled.

i read somewhere about there being some games it works for and some it does not work for, so maybe dark legacy is one that will work with later versions on pcsx2.

Pcsx2 0.9.6 didn't have any multi-tap support at all...Notice the lack of the option in its menus. You have to enable it both in Pcsx2 and LilyPad for it to work. It was made by just jiggering with things until it worked on the PS2 menu and a single multi-tap game, so not all that surprising some games don't like it.

its not that big of a deal, only a few decent games you actually need a multi-tap for 3+ people. Gauntlet and champions of norrath are the only ones i cared for. and Norrath isn't compatible just yet so no biggy.

2 years later and still not working.... Is this ever getting fixed? I've been wanting to play a Gauntlet game with my wife and kids for YEARS....
