I got a q6600 at 3.4ghz 4gigs of ram and a ati 5850 and i cant seem to get this game to run smoothly is my system just not good enough or is there some settings i am supposed to use

What resolution do you have GSdx set to?

Post screen shots of anything you've changed in the Emulation Settings. If you haven't changed anything, enable Speedhacks. Aside from the [Recommended] one's, the EE and/or VU sliders tend to bring the best result.

I ended up getting it fixed i thought i had my cpu overclocked but it reverted overclocked it again and the fps shot up to 60 thanks for the help anyways

Cool. I was a little surprised 3.4Ghz wasn't making it easy.
