I read the stickied thread on how to use the program, but when I type in the code, I get an error saying:
"no such file exists"
PCSX2 is located in my Applications folder.

Are you trying to run the emulator in 10.5 or 10.6 and are you using the newest release? I am running 10.6 and had no trouble opening the emulator from the recently release bundle package.
That stickied thread is obsolete now, you only need to launch pcsx2.app
how do you go about doing that, I am having the same problem and running that command results in an error message of command not found
