use DX10/11 renderer or try software renderer if you don't have DX10/11

what is your OS and your video card?

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, build 7201)
Intel® 82945G Express Chipset Family

That is a DirectX 9 only card, so you are probably stuck with software mode.

OR buy a video card that has a DX10/11 compliant
e.g. Nvidia 9000~,200~,300~,400~
ATI HD4000~,5000~
