Full Version: Low FPS

Hi,

I'm using an Alienware Notebook, and I`m having some trouble to make the pcsx2 run properly.

I was trying to run some heavy games like DBZ: BT3, God of War and others 3D real-time fight games... I tested almost all the configurations of the tutorial section, but the FPS still low, even with low graphics settings.
During the fights, is like in slow motion.

There is something I can do? The problem is the config of my machine? Some config recomendations?

Try overclocking.
1.8 GHz is quite weak for pcsx2
He's on a notebook, I should hope he's not going to try and overclock it. And in any case, it's an Intel i-i7, meaning he'll get the benefit of Turbo Boost anyways, so considering that PCSX2 only can use 2 cores, it'll end up being close to 2.8 GHz or something like that in practice.

Those games are pretty heavy, though, even for the highest-end systems.
