I have version 9.7.3876m and the Video plugin is GSdx 3693 . CPU is a Intel® Core™ i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 4gig Ram and a GeForce GTX 460 3dcard.

I try to play the game and it looks like this...

You can see from the top of the pic that framerate isnt an issue. Just the graphics are all wonky and the sound is slightly garbled. I havent tried to change anything myself cause im pretty noobish about the ps2 emu and have zero idea what any of the settings actually do.
Try switching to GSdx software mode (F9 while playing).

Please post your settings so we can help better.
Ahh sorry. here are the spec for the Emu. I tried to switch to software mode but it did not change anything.

And the GSD settings are

check allow 8 bit textures
Hmmm... try enabling some of the gamefixes or changing the round/clamp modes for both the EE and VUs, disbale speedhacks and disable that "FFX video" gamefix (this is not FFX Tongue2).
gah best i have found so far was when i turned the VU cycle stealing up to 2 when in the pitch screen (the one seen in the pic in OP) it looks normal. But if a ball is put in play its back to being the garbled mess.
