Hello ! I have the well known problem with Fmvs in Final Fantasy X-2: slow.. slow... . I have Pcsx 2 v0.9.7 (r3878)
As a consequence, I have some questions:

How can I fix it ? (If it's possible)

Is my computer enough good to run the game correctly ?

ASUS
N90 Series
Intel Core Duo 2
CPU: Duo T9600
Memory: 4 GB
OS: VistaPremium
Graphic: nVIDIA N10P GE1 Geforce GT 130M;
VRAM: 1 GB

I played FFX without problems. (I don't know if there is a link)

I'm French, so sorry if you don't understand me ! Sad
If you need others informations, tell me Smile
unless you have dual core 3.5Ghz CPU, fmvs will be slow in this game.
this is a known bug , not corrected yet.
YOur GPu is a bit weak, but if you keep native res, you should be able to run it with no major problems
try set to "High performance" in the power options(Control panel)
and don't expect good on that weak Video card.
Ok, i'll try it. And if it doesn't work:
Is there a way to skip Fmvs. ?
I think you can make a patch to skip mpeg.
but It's not worth trying since you have only 4-5 FMvs in this game.
There is a game fix that skips mpeg videos, and it is totally worth it since the videos in x-2 suck.

hm, whatever.

@op : It's up to you Wink
I have another question:
I begin with Pcsx2, so I wouldn't like to make a mistake. Is it possible to use a sort of turbo during Fmvs. ?
you can toggle frameskip (F4) key
Ok. Thank you. I'll try it.

Just another question: Is there a topic about FFX-2 problems and how to solve these bugs. ?
