What's it stand for...?
Or the Speedhack? Maybe you, too, are in the wrong place. Wink

PCSX2 Configuration Guide covers this stuff.

Yeah, leave it to Norton... Rolleyes
Is there anyway to show what Save slot you're currently on in the Display (not in the console) ?
Nope and there is no easy way to implement that before you ask

I'm sure it's up there in the title bar...

It is, but it seems a bit buggy - it only advances when you cycle slot using F2, and not when using the menu to load/save an arbitrary slot (which also changes current slot to the last accessed one, but the titlebar doesn't change).

I'll fix it, but it'll be available for now only via svn.
Current save state slot in title is now fixed at svn r4656. Note that the "State N" at the title is displayed by Lilipad (enabled by default, can be disabled via the Lilypad main config tab).

I highly recommend to disable it at Lilypad since it can have unpleasant results if you accidentally overwrite another save due to incorrect slot display.

The console message ("> Selected savestate slot N") is, however, correct and represents the actual current slot which will be used when pressing F1/F3.

FYI.
just want to share info
I test this new baby with my laptop spec:
core i3 5xxM
RAM 2 Gb
Win XP Prof P3
Radeon HD 54xx Mobile

I left all setting to default and play GOW1 (NTSC) and the best I can get is... 48 fps!! o_O!
Kratos sure take his time to slow-dance with all the zombie (Aegean Sea) XD
latest test before ...I use 0.9.6 rev 33.. without problem...and in my old rig of pentium 4 @3Ghz

I found it's strange, how my newest spec can't beat the old one...is it because it's a laptop and PC difference?
