Hey everyone I've got an issue that spans across multiple versions of PCSX2. I'm currently using the latest version, but the exact same issues occur on older versions. I'm trying to play FFX-2 PAL and I get these black bars that cover the screen. As well the audio is very...computerized? I don't know what you call it exactly, but there are issues with it as well. I do have a very nice rig here and I don't know why I'm having so many issues. Posted are screenshots of the game, CPU-Z specs of my CPU, and DxDiag with information about my Gfx card. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also note that the bars don't appear until I hit new game and the audio seems fine as well before starting the actual game.

it happens only during fmvs.
The only thing you can do is switching to software mode when you have an FMV (F9) and then switch back to hardware mode when you get back to actual gameplay.
You will need to use software mode to display that scene correctly (press F9 while playing).

You're getting bad sound because you don't get full speed in that video (videos in FFX-2 are very CPU demanding and your CPU just isn't fast enough for it). I'd suggest you watch the videos in youtube or something, they are 11 in total and you may not get full speed in them unless you want to overclock your CPU.
What is a good clock speed? My CPU default is 2.7 and I have it clocked up to 3.0. I'm not sure what it's max is.
You need 50FPS in that scene, something like 3.8-4.0GHz should do but you better be careful if you want to overclock that high.
Yeah I'm not experienced enough to get it that high nor am I going to risk it. THanks for the help though! It did work (F9)
