I have read another thread on how to rip a game to an iso file but I can't get it to work.

I have used the cd ~/Desktop
hdiutil makehybrid -iso -joliet -o GTAVCS.iso GTAVCS.cdr command in Terminal but it wont work. Any reasons why?

Sorry if I have made any nooby mistakes but I am a noob!

It's better to use dd to dump an ISO.

Great thanks! Its made a iso image on my desktop but when I try and quit terminal it says its still doing something so I assume I just wait now. How long does it take?

Around 10-15 minutes for a 4 gig disc, I believe.

Great I can see the file size going up so its working!
