Have anyone ever experienced a slowdown in either of them and whats the best config. for those games? I'm using pcsx2 0.9.8 stable.
Intel® Core™ i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07 GHz.
Uhh got any particular problem...?
Yes, there are graphical glithes though out the whole stage and the game runs decent at cut scenes but the game play is at 30 fps so i asking what the best configuation for it
when I mean "whole" i mean "every" stage
PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? What do the EE/GS% numbers in game window say when you get slowdowns?
Ape Escape 2 - Settings
EE/IOP, VUs, GS, - Default
Speed hacks - All the recommended ones

Plugin Settings - GSdx 4600 (MSVC 15.00, SSE41) 0.1.16
Direct 3D9 (hardware) Ps2 resolution Native

Places of Problems -
Opening Clip fps 30 - 32% EE 97 - 100% GS 40 - 50 %
Title Screen fps Perfect EE 63% GS 44%
First Stage fps 33 - 34% EE 65 - 75% GS 60 - 85%
(The Stage has alot of graphical errors around a lot of surfaces though out the stage)
Ape Escape 3 - All settings and plugins same as Ape Escape 2

Places of Problems -
Opening Clip fps Perfect
Title Screen fps 40% EE 96 - 100% GS 60 - 68%
First Stage fps Perfect
(This game is really just the title screen)

PS BOTH GAMES ARE PAL VERSION SO FRAME RATE LIMIT IS 50 FPS
Neither EE/VU reaching ~90% could mean you are using too much reoslution, try lowering it or simply ticking the "native" checkbox in GSdx as well as enabling/disabling the "Allow 8-bit textures" option.
I tried that but the result is just the same. Is my computer not fast enough to run this game?
My game keeps freezing during the Blue monkey boss fight. Is there a reason for this?
