hey.Good day to admins and the community.I'm a newbie user of this splendid emulator we call pcsx2 so i'm not really what you would call literate to this program. i'm trying to play one of the greatest game of all time, final fantasy 12 internation zodiac job version and i cant seem to get it to work. I can run the game using its .iso, getting 60+ FPS normally, and it seems very laggy and drags alot. i know there are ALOT of related topics concerning this problem but no matter how hard i try i just can't get it to run smoothly.

so i decided to ask you pros for a few questions:

a. Whats the best pcsx2 version that can run this game smoothly?
b. whats the best plugins and configuration?

i tried browsing the forums and i've been up all night trying to get this to work. Laugh

here are my specs:
OS : Windows 7 Home Basic 32-bit
PROC: Pentium Dual Core E6800 @ 3.33Ghz
RAM: 2048MB
GFX: AMD Radeon HD 6450 512MB

do i still have a chance for a good gameplay or is it hopeless. Sad

Don't use VU cycle steal.

Try the 0.9.8 or later, gsdx hardware with the highest sse and directx you can support. Use all the default settings first and work from there.

theres is nothing we can do about that CPU expect that Ati due to it's old CPU archetectures better have the latest intel CPU now like the 2nd gen i5/i7 w/ "K" suffixes it can unlocked up to 5Ghz if you want a sustained speed of 60~64fps.
