When trying to select this plugin on PCSX2 0.9.8 (r4600), the whole emulator crashes when I click apply.
Do you have WinPCAP installed?

Yes, I also tried re installing it.
Try running PCSX2 as admin (right click), last time someone had that problem that was the issue.

I have tried that aswell.
Can you try confirming if it works on an older version such as 0.9.6 or one of the earlier 0.9.7 svns?
