Oh, and my dongle is in that list on the first page, but I don't know if that's enough to be sure it's compatible.
Hi, this is awesome thanks (I previously used MIJ but was getting fed up with it and this is so much better).
Would it be possible to get support for following Bluetooth device? It's included in my laptop, and is made by Broadcom with the ID: USB\VID_13D3&PID_3315.
Thanks again!
Quick question,
I just upgraded from your earlier version (0.8 something) to "SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103" and it seems that now triggers are mapped to a single axis.
I remember having them separate before.
When did this change happened, so to I can revert to that driver?
BTW, I'm playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 and the triggers must use separate axis as they control brake/throttle and have to be used at the same time with manual transmission.
Thanks
Hey. First of all great stuff, switched to this from motionjoy and really liking this so far.
However the controller disconnects everytime the controller vibrates while I'm playing FIFA (cannot be disabled ingame).
I used to fix this in motionjoy by disabling the left & right motor. Is there a similar function with this software?
Would be a shame to have to go back to motionjoy because of this issue. Thanks in advance.
@Scarlet.Crush
please i need a custom build of ScpControl.dll for the actual version XInput Wrapper 1.0.0.103 for my Bluetooth support, like @Gevaerd
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...er?page=22.
I have the same problem and this is the solution. please add support in upcoming updates for these types of controls ds3
I see that you have blue tooth id USB\VID_0B05&PID_179C but when I try to pair the DS3 controller
for blue tooth it shows up for less then a second then disappears and the DS3 will not pair. I have two ids listed it looks like this.
USB\VID_0B05&PID_179C&REV_0001
USB\VID_0B05&PID_179C
Plugging the ds3 in the usb works just fine. In your next up date could you passably add the ones above.
And thanks for creating good drives for the DS3.
Hey there.
First of all, thanks for creating an alternative to that horrid MotioninJoy creation.
I know next to nothing about these sorta things, so I'll apologize right away, but I think I found the name of the dongle I'm using:
USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001\5&5803DD0&0&1
I have bluetooth in my laptop as well, but I remember reading somewhere that it wouldn't work for this or something. Regardless, here's hoping that whatever I posted up there is suitable (and that it's actually the thing you're looking for...).
Haven't been able to get the program running, so hopefully whatever it is you do with these codes fixes it?
Thanks very much again; can't imagine how much work you do for all of us for free. Very kind of you.

Followup!
So I've implemented this in my open source project called
Touchmote, which is an interface for Wiimotes, and I can say that your solution is really really great and easy to use!
So I'd like to ask for permission if it's okay to distribute your drivers with the Touchmote installer? Are you using a license for the files?
Also, I included the code for ScpControl because the compiled dll would not work when running in 64-bit mode. I can remove the code if you don't want it there. Here is the commit on the fix:
a2dc080
You might want to add this to your code?
One annoying thing though, is that if you are playing a game that does not handle unplugging of a controller (most windows 8 store apps as it seems), when you have plugged in one controller, start the game, and then unplug it and plug it in again, it will register as controller 2 instead of 1. Do you know if there's anything I can try to fix this?
Below is the interface I'm using to communicate with ScpControl:
XinputBus.cs
XinputDevice.cs
XinputReport.cs
Thanks again!
I just got Crimson Red DualShock 3 today with rev "A1" and it works wonderfully with 16ms test software. I can live with it until the next release is out! Thank you for taking your time on BTH rumble timing issue.
+rep!
By the way, the A1 DS3 on 16ms didn't rumble like perfect than on USB mode. I noticed that when I play Super Smash Bros Brawl running in Dolphin emulator, A1 DS3 on bluethooth while non-rev DS3 on USB. But hey, I can live with it, really!
And another thing I want to tell you, the non-rev DS3 rumble alright on MiJ bluetooth, it isn't perfect either and it's much alike to A1 DS3 on 16ms bluetooth. I wonder how can MiJ do it better for non-rev DS3s
?

I've implemented a USB shutdown feature, so that a DS3 can be disconnected without attempting start a paired PS3. Turned out to be easier than I expected.
Install -
1. Stop the Service.
2. Replace ScpControl.dll in your install directory with the one from the attached archive.
3. Start the Service.
To use - Press and hold L1+R1+PS for 2 seconds. LEDs will flash for a few seconds, then go out and it is safe to disconnect from USB without starting your PS3.
Thanks a lot for this, Scarlet! It works perfectly!
