Read a few pages, didn't see an answer, but I'm sure it's somewhere in that 149 mess...
Could anyone tell me what my issue is w/ my DS3 controller? It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting about a second later, a little frustrating sometimes.
I use it in wired mode because it occasionally lags (maybe same issue) when using bluetooth adapter.

I cant find that reply either, but I can confirm it attempts to connect to the Amazon cloud which is definitely not internal.
Thanks for the info all. The last link pretty much explains it. Appreciate the help

I can install the drivers and get the DS3 to work perfectly through BT, but as soon as the computer goes to sleep, hibernates, or is shut down, the controller no longer syncs with the computer. The service is running, and the monitor still shows the port as being reserved, but the controller's LEDs just blink endlessly and there is no communication.
Restarting the computer does not does not cause this issue. It is just sleep, hibernate, and shutdown that cause the problem. Even plugging the controller back in doesn't resync it; I have to completely uninstall the driver and reinstall it to get it to work again. This makes it pretty useless since it means always having a USB cable around to reconnect it, and having to go through the uninstall and reinstall process every time I shut the computer's lid.
I've messed around for a couple of weeks with every setting I could find... nothing fixes it. The log files don't seem to shed any light either. I even tried to buy a few external dongles, including the ASUS one others have mentioned, but I can't get them to work either.
Does anyone have any ideas?
This ^^
Only difference is im running Win7
I tried everything i could think of... but as soon as i power down the laptop, i cannot pair my DS3 to my Bluethooth adapter anymore. while before powering down everything works like a charm....
i read through a bunch of the messages here in this thread but it seems only me and him have this issue??! or not ?
if anyone has any ideas how to fix this id really appreciate a reply...
@Ender13 @fntanyl I'm having SAME issue. is there a fix for this i am? unable to connect with bluetooth after sleep/hibernater unless i restart my computer. this shouldnt happen. andbody have any idea how to fix this?
EDIT: hmm seems to have fixed itself. all i did was remove all instances and every trace of motioninjoy AND make sure my bt adaptor + everything else relating to 360 controller isnt on powersave in device manager ill update this if the problem comes back
I think its already written here:
I'm using the PS3 PAD connected by USB with my computer. For BT the controller is paired with my PS3. I'm using original Sony controllers.
I've some little issue: When resuming from standby or hibernate, while the controller is still connected, it gets sometimes connected as "XInput Pad 1" instead of "XInput Pad 0". In PCSX2 this is no problem. There I've configured both. But in other games I'm playing with this pad, it only accepd the "XInput Pad 0".
Workaround is to go to standby again (computer has to be turned off or the PS3 is waking up at disconnecting), disconnect the pad, resume from standby and connect again. Now its connected as "XInput Pad 0".
Would be nice, if there would be a fix possible.
I need some serious help here....
I set up my DS3 and paired it to a BT dongle months ago.
Then, a few weeks ago, it stopped working.
I've spent the past few hours trying to get it working again to no avail.
On Windows 8x64 (UAC off):
Device manager shows BTH DS3 Device and PLAYSTATION®3 Controller.
ScpMonitor will open up, but cannot detect DS3.
ScpService will not start--Windows Service Start Failure. (all files are in program files/scarlet crush directory).
Even when I plug my DS3 into my PC via a USB cable, it is not recognized at all. I've tried two different gamepads, both of which function perfectly with my PS3, so it's not a hardware issue.
Ohhh sh**t, I just got my PS3 controller working after installing your program and I didn't have to use the bullsh**t ridden MotionJoy. Even though you made a platform giving us the capability of using a DS3 controller via blutooth, I would be just satisfied being able to play with only a USB cable. You have made my day and I want to thank you.
