@ReaperX24
Glad to know I could help.

@Huesoman

It looks like you just need to reinstall it.

Thanks for the quick reply, I unistalled it (the Xinput wrapper) and want to install it again but this time with "force install" box checked (I have windows 7 but I heard that in one case it solved the problem). Just have a question: after following steps 1 to 8, I mean these:

1. Connect your Dongle and DS3 via USB and let Windows install it's default drivers.
2. Unpack the archive.
3. Create a directory where you want the Service to run from. [Recommended - C:\Program Files\Scarlet.Crush Productions *]
4. Copy the contents of the ScpServer\bin to the directory you created.
5. Run ScpDriver.exe.
6. XP/Vista - check the Force Install option. Win 7/8 leave it unchecked.
7. Click Install.
8. Click Exit.

What should I do to pair (sync) the DS3 controller to the Bluetooth adapter? If they are automatically paired, what should I do to use the controller wirelessly? I mean, after step 8 ("click exit") I had the bluetooth dongle connected and also the ps3 controller via the USB cable, and on that ocassion I unplugged the PS3 controller from the USB cable and the USB cable from the PC, then hit the PS button on the controller (thinking that would pair it to the bluetooth dongle) but nothing happened, there was no connection whatsoever, and I thought maybe I should have followed some additional steps before unplugging the PS3 controller and the USB cable.

Could you (or anybody) explain me what should I do after step 8 (click exit) to get my ps3 controller paired to the Bluetooth dongle?
I know my bluetooth adapter is supported, its hardware id is "USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001" and is in the list of compatible bluetooth devices.
Got a problem. Trying to install everything, but it doesn't look like SCP DS3 Service is NOT running. Can't even find it. W7. Bluetooth is USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8.

edit : NOT running.
Hi, Any plans to make the PS Button work as a mapable key?

Thanks!
@huesomen

After you install the program, unplug the ps3 controller and it should sync automatically. I suggest opening SCPMonitor and checking host address. There are pictures of what the scp monitor should look like on Post: 937. If the host address says disconnected next to it the bluetooth driver did not install properly.

Thanks very much, I will try it, hope it works. Unsure
Alright. The scp service wasn't installing cos of permissions and uac. Does anyone know why I can't get my ds3 to pair over bluetooth though?

Hi, me again, I installed it again and now the DS3 controller works via USB, even after restarting the PC, but it doesn't paired with the bluetooth device nonetheless. I made sure ScpService is running plus open ScpMonitor, and this is what I get when the PS3 controller is connected via the USB cable:
[Image: GNdtnAQ.jpg]
After unplugging the USB cable this is what I get:
[Image: QAaG4Tt.jpg]

I mean, the bluetooth device is connected (BTH DS3 Device), but as you can see in the second image it reads: BTH 00000000 none. My bluetooth hardware id is supported according to the list in page 1 or page 64 (USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001), so I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong Sad

the ScpService is running according to this:
[Image: nnWARfU.jpg]
plus I run it using this command: net Start "SCP DS3 Service". But I must say that when I tried to run it by opening the ScpService.exe I got this:
[Image: Zci48Z8.jpg]

Is there something I missed? Maybe I did something wrong? Sorry for taking your time but I think I can make it work wirelessly, just need some little help.

EDIT: I forgot to say that when I unplugged the USB cable (that connected the PS3 controller to the PC), the controller's first red light (there are four as you know) was turned on, without blinking or anything, just like when you use it on the PS3, so I guess it was indeed connected to the bluetooth device, BUT (and this is a big but) when I went to control panel this is what I got:
[Image: FhEymqc.jpg]
as you can see, there isn't the PS3 controller icon, and when I tried to configure the controller windows didn't recognize the inputs, again, as there weren't a controller device connected.

Maybe your bluetooth hardware id isn't supported, to check what is to hardware id go to "devices and printers" and right click the bluetooth icon, then go to the hardware tab and click on properties and under the details tab change device description to hardware id, the second line is your hardware id, mine is: USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001. After that go to the first page of this thread and check if yours is listed as a "currently supported dongle". If not maybe you can modify something (a file) to make it work, but I don't know how to do that, if your hardware id is on the list then, maybe, you have the same problem as mine.
Desperately need this -> SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103-Bth-Update-11.7z

for this -> USB\VID_05AC&PID_8216

but I don't see where I can download it...

(Note that it is Update 11... I can of course use any update after that, but I don't see those either.)

P.S. No, that VID/PID pair is not in SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103.7z nor in SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-0.8.0.100-Bth-Update-17.7z

EDIT for posterity: My bad. Should've been 8218, not 8216. Regardless, neither is there. The workaround is to edit the INF file, putting the VID/PID in both the x86 and x64 sections, then uninstall/reinstall. You will have to "force install" and go through the Windows warning dialog about unsigned drivers (at least on 7; I don't know if this is even possible on 8). One peculiarity for me was that it took a couple of tries and a long time "untethered" before the controller finally synced over BT.
