I have one slight issue and i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. A lot of times when im playing games with the controller via bluetooth, it would become unresponsive and lag for a few seconds. Some times it even sticks and keep going in the last direction i pressed and i would have no control over the character. ( ie. if i start walking left with lara croft, she would continue walking left even after i stop using the analog stick.) anyone have a solution to this? Im using an official sony controller. Thank you in advance. BTW this doesnt happen when connected by usb.

Exact same thing happens to me, sometimes it works wonderfully, and then all of a sudden the inputs will get laggy. I haven't tested if this happens through USB. Is it a problem with drivers? or possibly a cheap bluetooth dongle?
(10-04-2013, 04:02 AM)Huesoman Wrote: [ -> ]do you checked the "force install" box before clicking the "install" button? I know it says you do it just for Windows xp and other, but someimes you need to do this even in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Yeah, I've tried a force install. I'll play around with restarting my PC and all that to see if I can get it to install.

I'll just confirm it worked perfectly on Windows 8, my issue is with the new Windows 8.1 Preview.

EDIT: Ok, I seem to have fixed the issue. Anyone who has updated to 8.1 and is suffering from this issue, or wants to update as well as keep Bluetooth connectivity with your DS3 just do this.

Step 1: Right click the ScpDriver executable and select Properties

Step 2: Click on the Compatibility tab and choose to open the Compatibility Troubleshooter

Step 3: Click on Troubleshoot Program

Step 4: Click on the radio button next to "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now", then hit the Next button

Step 5: Choose Windows 7 from the list. Initially, I chose Windows 8 because it worked on Windows 8 for me before, but it still didn't install the Bluetooth driver. Choosing Windows 7 installed it perfectly. Click Next.

Step 6: Plug in your DS3 and Bluetooth adapter and click "Test the program". Try installing the program without clicking Force Install. If it doesn't work, try clicking force Install and try again. I don't recall needing to force the installation, though.

And you should be sorted. Or it might work straight away for you, in which case you're a lucky son of a gun! You can save the settings at the end of the troubleshooter, or ditch it now, your call.
Hi!, I'd like to use the integrated bluetooth.
hardware Ids:
USB\VID_413C&PID_8160
USB\VID_413C&PID_8160&REV_0173

can you add the hardware id for this?

I tried add the Id's to "BthWinUsb.inf" and update but it only worked the first time, then it didn't connect with my sixaxis.
How can I be sure the bluetooth dongle I buy has EDR? I just wasted money and 2 weeks of time to get this piece of junk USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_0134 I want to make sure the next one I get has EDR and works fine.

Same here, I have that bluetooth (rev 0134), and had to replace it with a new one that truly supports EDR. I was searching on the internet but got nothing, it is like you have to "trust" what the box reads. If you find a reliable method to know if a BT supports EDR then please let us know, I know for sure v3.0 and v4.0 supports EDR, but not all v2.0 supports it. BTW, I use now this: Trendnet TBW-107UB (Version 1.0R) and works flawlessly.

I just ordered this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6833320057 according to the features page it says Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR so now i'll wait until it arrives and pray it works.
I installed this into the folder specified as administrator and I still can not get it to acknowledge that I have my ps3 controller plugged in via usb, even though its clearly showing in my devices, but as a 'playstation' controller.
Hello there, I have a request for you to add another hardware id for blue tooth dongles.

USB\VID_0B05&PID_17CB&REV_0112
USB\VID_0B05&PID_17CB

Thanks, and keep up the great work!
I just discovered that 2 of my controllers were fake so that's why they would not remain paired via bluetooth Sad although they work perfect via usb connection

Also one thing I would like to add :even though you are the admin you have to Give full read/write access from folder proprieties to the folder from where you will install the drivers (and unblock the exe files since they are downloaded from internet) cause the installation wont create the service.
Hi, I've noticed that the deadzone is not being calculated properly. It seems it's calculated for each axis separately, which is wrong. The deadzone is at the center where the stick is idle, so both axis would have to be taken into consideration. Currently there's this weird thing happening, where you don't really get a 360° range of movement, cause the it snaps to the x or y axis, even when the stick is not really in the deadzone, caused by just calculating and snapping each axis separately. Is this a problem that's fixable?

Thank you for your time and this great product!
