@damron17: ok, getting real late here (4am >.<) so I would suggest that you perform a full system backup (to an external drive if you have one) and we continue tomorrow.

Thats fine. I got no external hard drive or anything but I'll be working on it till then. I found a piece of the motionjoy driver still in my driver folder. Gonna see if that was the problem
Can't get bluetooth to work properly with my xinput wrapper for ds3, however it works with USB connection.

Anyone know what's up?
Hello guys, first thanks for this applications that help to play with our ds3 controllers.
My problem is when I try to connect my ds3 controller via bluetooth, Im using the integrated bluetooth device from my laptop (is listed in the compatability list: USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004).
Well, when i start the SCPMonitor the "Host Adress: is disconnected" (via USB i have no problems), for this I tryied to install the bluetooth driver with Zadig, and then it works but if i use this way I lost the normal connectivity bluetooth options (such as connect my mobile phone to it).
Is there any other way for have the normal bluetooth options and also can connect the DS3 controller via bluetooth?
Thanks in advance!!
So I get the bluescreens still. I'm finding bits and pieces of motionjoy in the registry. Should I delete the folder its in or just the registry value that has motionjoy?
I was having some trouble getting the driver/service working on a new install of Windows 7 Home. Turns out there's a checkbox ("Unblock") in the properties tab of the driver .exe file.
This video shows exactly how to fix the problem:

Once I got that figured out, everything worked right away.
Hope this helps someone else!

You have to dedicate a dongle to SCP. I would get a USB dongle to use with SCP so it will leave the intergrated for other devices.

There isnt other way to do it? because i allways think that u can use the integrated bluetooth for connect a ds3 controller (also without losing the integrated for other devices).
Thanks!
First off, may I say that I really appreciate that you have dedicated so much time and effort into this project and with helping so many people in getting the program to work. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm one of those people who needs some assistance in getting this to work properly.
I'm currently using the latest version and update of the program on Windows 7 64-bit with my official DS3 controller. The hardware ID of my bluetooth dongle is USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8 and USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8&REV_0112, which appears to be on the supported list.
First may I say that I did in fact have Motioninjoy installed several weeks ago, but uninstalled it and its drivers shortly thereafter. I discovered the Scarlet Crush program a few days ago and after a frustrating few hours, finally got it to work through both USB and bluetooth. It seemed to work great, the only minor issue was that the LED on my dongle seemed to shut off when it worked. I guess that is just a product of the driver that replaced it though. The problem was that when it worked, it didn't work very long. I had shut down my PC for the night with the dongle still in a USB port, but after I turned it back on the next day, ScpMonitor said that pad1 was disconnected when my DS3 was connected through USB or trying to use bluetooth. So I uninstalled everything using ScpDriver and restarted my system only to try to reinstall it again. It hasn't worked properly since.
Initially, the problem was that the bluetooth driver didn't seem to install, although both boxes were checked. When I connected my DS3 through USB, ScpMonitor would detect the controller and say it was charging, but when unplugged it obviously could not connect through bluetooth. After many times of going through the uninstall/reinstall process of ScpDriver and my dongle's software, the same problem persisted, up unto this point.
Currently, the problem seems to be worse. After a fresh reinstall of my dongle, I go into ScpDriver and try to install the configuration service and bluetooth driver with my DS3 connected only to have a blue screen occur during the installation process. The blue screen reads:
*** Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF8800B580E67)
*** ScpVBus.sys - Address FFFFF8800B580E67 base at FFFFF8800B57F000, DateStamp 5186cfae
If I leave the dongle in the USB port after I restart, when my desktop loads it will immediately jump to the same blue screen. If I disconnect it before the restart, it loads normally. This gives the opportunity to uninstall Scp, restart, and take me back to square 1 where my dongle is using its own drivers and where Scp has yet to be installed. If I try to install yet again, the same thing occurs 85% of the time, or the bus driver and bluetooth driver fail to install at all, as they are not on the list.
If you could help me out in trying to resolve this problem so that the program can work as intended, that would be fantastic. Just give me some instructions and guidance and I'll be sure to do what I need to at this point. I would love to have this run without a hitch eventually.
Thanks so much.
