My dongle wasnt on the list of supported dongles; its a generic broadcom 2.1. I did the tutorial on post 1850 that finished correctly but still no BT. i tried restarting and removing the dongle for 30 seconds, that didnt do anything. In the scpmonitor it says "Host Address: <Error>" and that is all it has said since ive tried. I could use a little help, so ive attached my service log zipped.
I have the same problem.. I followed the post now it gives that error in Host address and my controller is not getting detected .... arrghhgh
I really wanted to thanks the Author of these great program they work like a charms and are far superior than motioninjoy for bluetooth pairing, not have to start any program to use the controller is also awesome.
Yea the host address issue not letting me have bluetooth is really annoying, otherwise i love having it run as a service.
I do not know if I have the same problem as previous users. But I get no link the DS3 via bluetooth. In devices and printers if "BTH DS3 Device" appears, but when I unplug the USB controller, LED blink but does not connect ...
Pd.: Zadig I used to support Bluetooth, and also wanted to know how to uninstall all, reinstall from scratch, to the driver position from Zadig. By doing so as a last resort.

Hello, first I must thank you for this tool, now I'm able to use the DS3 on my PC, before that I bought different controllers but none of them as good and reliable as the DS3.
I play all my pc games using JoyToKey, it is a tool that allows me to bind any key from the keyboard to any button (or directional) of my gamepad; I use joytokey also because it has a "turbo" function (repeated presses while holding a button), but I use it mainly because it allows me to bind any key to whatever button or directional I want to.
Now I would like some advice with a little issue I ran into. A lot of PC games have support for a xbox 360 controller for windows, and if I know correctly your tool (xinput wrapper) emulate that controller. So this is the issue: in those games that support x360 controller for windows I can't use JoyToKey properly because my DS3 now works like a "2 in 1" controller, on the one hand it works as a x360 controller for windows; and on the other hand it emulate my pc keyboard via JoytoKey, all at the same time! Thus every button press trigger 2 inputs. I know an easy solution would be stop using JoyToKey to avoid the double inputs I'm getting, but I want to use JoyToKey for all the reasons explained above.
I think the problem is that my PC recognize the DS3 as a x360 controller, so games that support x360 recognize it as a x360 controller too. I think a possible solution could be getting the PC recognizing the DS3 as a "controller" but not as a "X360 controller for Windows", is that possible with your tool? If not, do you have some advice about how to disable the x360 controller compatibility for any (whatever) game? Maybe is just a matter of deleting a file in the game folder? I would appreciate your help with this little issue, I tried to edit all the x360 buttons inside the game (options > controller configuration) but in some games (for example Street fighter X Tekken) it keeps reading "double input" as I pressed the button.
Well, thanks for your time.
EDIT: I was searching and it seems there will be conflicts with games that support Xinput controllers, so maybe it is a matter of making the pc recognize the DS3 as a DirectInput controller, do you know how can I do that? BTW, I posted this issue before:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...#pid321907
I know this isn't a problem of the Xinput wrapper but any help is welcome.
Fantastic job on the software.

I'm trying to install the drivers but running into difficulties. Through following all of the steps, I get up to the actual installation but certain parts of the drivers fail to install. The only things that install correctly are the bus drivers and the DS3 monitor service that pops up in my taskbar.
Comparing my install log to the one in the 1st post, both the DS3 USB driver and the bluetooth driver fail to install. Forcing installation does nothing to help.
my bluetooth dongle also isn't listed as supported. It's id is USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_3164, but using the procedures in post 1851 yields similar results to trying to install the main drivers. Replacing drivers comes up as Installation Failed.
Is there anything I can do?
Hi, this is great, thanks! But I'm having an issue with bluetooth. Mine is on the directly supported list (USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004) and when I first installed it, it worked. But once I rebooted, my DS3 would no longer connect via bluetooth (usb still worked fine). Oddly, uninstalling and reinstalling a few times will eventually make it work again, but once I reboot it'll no longer connect wirelessly. Anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.
Edit: Fixed. I reinstalled Windows 8.1 today (for other reasons) and it's working and connecting even after reboot. Yay. :3

Hi. I also got a problem with bluetooth. I was running Win7 before and got it paired with my DS4 with your custom scpcontrol.dll in znation's case.
I now upgraded to Win8.1 and pairing doesn't work at all. I installed the custom driver with Zadig and tried all different scpcontrols, but no success. The DS4 keeps flashing, no solid white like it did with Win7.
USB works fine, by the way.
I've attached the Ds4Pair.log for troubleshooting. Please help me.
