edit : but i've seen people work it with built-in bluetooth. it actually confuses me.

Some built in adapters can be made to work but I'm not sure which or how. You might consider messaging someone who has made their built in adapter work or searching the thread and trying to find the necessary steps.

Edit: check the original post. There are some instructions near the bottom that may help.

Unfortunately I can't help with this but I hope you can get it installed and working the manual way.

Where can I download the dependencies?
I'm having problems setting this up. I have all the required drivers, except whatever bluetooth ones since I don't plan on using my controller wireless. I did all the steps after that, and everything goes fine from what I see. But when I try to use my controller it doesn't seem to work, and when I open the monitor I get "Pad 1 : DS3 00:00:00:00:00:00 - Reserved" and "Host Address : Disconnected".
I am having a similar problem. When I install it, I then restart my PC and run the monitor but it says host address is disconnected and that pad 1 is disconnected as well. Trying to use this with skyrim. If it matters, this isn't a standard ps3 controller, its the power a air flo ps3 controller. I plugged it in and it just worked with m emulators but I can't get it to work with skyrim which is why I"m here =/ any help would be appreciated.
I'm using the mouse emulator tool,
and I was wondering if there is a way to map scrolling wheel behaviour and middle mouse Button to some of the DS3 ones.

Also,
how can i give use to the select and start buttons?
I would like to add a keybind to run/close a program I use often..
(06-28-2014, 06:56 PM)KeyToTruth12 Wrote: [ -> ]Everytime I run ScpDriver, the app instantly crashed. Help?

why do you need to run scp driver? you need to run and leave open scp server only...Ohmy
So I got this to work fine using USB, but it refuses to work with my Bluetooth adapter. My adapter is an internal, though it is on the supported list. (USB\VID_04CA&PID_3006&REV_0001; HCI=7.1102; LMP=6.0001)
The driver can pair the controller, but when I disconnect it from USB it never connects via BT (all 4 lights blink for about a minute, then the controller shuts off). It seems to be properly pairing it, the right MAC is listed in the logs and the controller no-longer boots my PS3 console.

I've attached the service log; You can see it connect and disconnect via USB, but nothing at all while I try BT.
Any help is appreciated! Wink

Edit: Ok, so I can't attach a .log. I guess a zip'd log works as well.
I had the drivers working just fine until I started playing BattleBlock theater a few days ago. Now everytime I try to my DS3 controller, it starts connecting & disconnecting constantly, and it breaks my Logitech G510's drivers to where the keyboard starts doing the same thing and I have to restart the computer to get my kayboard back to normal. Anyone know what's wrong with my drivers? Any fix for this? I loved these drivers and being able to play games with a PS3 controller without using MotionInJoy's BS. I really hate the feel of Xbox controllers.
Hey guys, couldn't find any info. on this readily, but I've tried countless times to make my PS3 controller work on my laptop. Followed all of the correct steps in extraction, letting Windows install the controller drivers, then installing the XBOX drivers, followed by installing the XInput Drivers, but the installation won't install correctly. I've copy and pasted the log contents below, but it is readily apparent that I'm missing the PS3 SCP Driver. I've tried running it in administrative mode, but to no avail. For a reason that I am unable to understand, the PS3 SCP Driver itself won't install. Any help guys?

Extra info: I'm running Windows 8.1 x64
The PS3 controller is connected via wire and it's continuous red blinking.

Where can I download the dependencies?

Almost certainly missing dependencies. The dependencies are mostly Microsoft files.

Here's a short list of the most commonly missed dependencies:

1. Microsoft .NET 4.0
2. Visual C 2013 Runtime.
3. Latest DirectX Runtime.
4. Latest Xbox 360 Controller Drivers available.

Search for the microsoft files at microsoft's download center:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/default.aspx

A complete list of dependencies are in the first post on this thread.

I can't imagine BattleBlock theater would have anything to do with the error but i've seen stranger things. Also this is not likely to be (directly) related to SCP DS3 XInput Wrapper unless the G510 uses XInput

Did you try uninstalling the SCP drivers then reinstalling them?
Are the Logitech G510 and PS3 controller on the same USB hub (adjacent USB ports)?
Have you checked the hub your G510 is on for issues?
Have you tested the USB port your G510 is occupying with other devices to see if they misbehave under the same conditions?
Have you reinstalled any programs/drivers associated with the G510?
Did you update the G510 driver recently?

Can you consistently reproduce the bug and if so, what are the steps?

I've never looked into keybinding the DS3 controller directly HOWEVER You can keybind the input indirectly. There are many good keybinding programs for doing so, anything stating it supports an Xbox 360 controller should work. Google is your friend! Laugh

Firstly, try running ScpServer.exe and see if everything works while that is open. All SCP DS3 Service does is run ScpServer in the background at startup (basically). If that works then the service not installing is your only issue and you can put ScpServer.exe to run at startup for a similar (but clunkier) effect.

If that's your only issue but you want the service installed (less clunky):

Are you using force install? Per the original post by Scarlet.Crush Force install should only be used when on Windows XP. Your install log is indicating Windows 8.1.
Did you have "Force Install" checked when you tried to install using "Run as Administrator"? have you tried without "Force install" but while using "Run as Administrator"?
