Did you have "Force Install" checked when you tried to install using "Run as Administrator"? have you tried without "Force install" but while using "Run as Administrator"?
Thank you so much! Controller is working fine now! And yes I was using force install. I will try to install the drivers the "correct" method, but I am enjoying my DS3 experience very much now! Thanks again!
Hey guys I'm having some trouble getting my PS3 controller to work on my PC with PCSX2. I already made a different thread about the problem because I wasn't sure where to post it, but was advised to put it here instead, so I will post a link to the thread here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Issues-ge...ut-Wrapper
Could I get some help please? There's much more detail about the problem on the other thread.
Thank you!

Did you try uninstalling the SCP drivers then reinstalling them?
Are the Logitech G510 and PS3 controller on the same USB hub (adjacent USB ports)?
Have you checked the hub your G510 is on for issues?
Have you tested the USB port your G510 is occupying with other devices to see if they misbehave under the same conditions?
Have you reinstalled any programs/drivers associated with the G510?
Did you update the G510 driver recently?
Can you consistently reproduce the bug and if so, what are the steps?
++++
1) Many times
2) No, they are different hubs
3) I have a Behringer Xenyx 302USB Mixer plugged in next to the G510, and it never failed, so no.
4) Nothing failed in the same port, so no.
5) Actually, no. If I do that, I have to remap everything :/ I only use the Logitech software utility they have for their products.
6) No, they don't have any updates to install. Used the same one for months after rebuilding my system.
All I have to do to reproduce the bug is launch a game with the keyboard and controller both plugged in.
Is there any other information that would help with possibly identifying the issue?

There aren't many more questions that could be asked, you just ruled out pretty much anything except a corrupted driver (keyboard side) or a conflict. A conflict is much more likely especially if...
Are you using Steam? If so:
Steam has a large controller support library that could potentially cause a conflict between your keyboard/controller. This wouldn't be the case if you have tried a non-steam supported game/program (e.g. PCSX2) and it still caused the issue.
OR
Are you using Raptr? If so:
Logitech software has a -very- common issue with Raptr if you use that program.
OR
Did BattleBlock Theater update -any- of the dependencies for either your G510 or the SCP DS3 XInput Wrapper (e.g. visual C redistributable) If so:
This would cause a different kind of conflict and uninstalling/reinstalling whichever dependency BattleBlock Theater overwrote from the official microsoft download site will almost certainly fix the issue (but probably break BattleBlock Theater).
Unfortunately I don't own a G510 so I won't have much information to offer if none of those is the case. You might consider contacting logitech support and not mentioning the PS3 controller until they ask after viewing their logs, they might be able to pin down the issue.
This server is great! Once it's hooked up, I can't find a single thing wrong with it! However, I'm having the same issue as alertdotexe and kegdas (maybe they'll return with a fix, hint hint??)
I have an ideapad y510p with an Intel 7260 b/g/n Wireless + Bluetooth 4.0. I installed bluetooth.cfg with zadig, and it works brilliantly.
Anytime the PC goes to sleep, however, it will stop being able to pair. I have to uninstall the Zadig driver as outlined below, restart, then replace my 7260's Bluetooth driver again with WinUSB.
I also tried removing the XBox 360 Controller from Devices and Printers and reinstalling it by connecting the DS3 by USB. Still wouldn't connect to Bluetooth.
The most interesting part is that I don't have to plug the controller in at all during this process. When I remove the driver, restart, and re-replace it, I can turn the controller on when the monitor shows no reservation, and it will still pair.
I suspect that this reinstallation process is actually doing something very small like clearing the controller's MAC reservation or something. Is there an easier way to clear the reservation so that I can test that?
To anyone requesting how to roll back to / revert your Bluetooth driver (I didn't see anyone answer it before):
Go to Control Panel (or right click the bottom left corner of the screen on Windows 8)
Go to Device Manager
Look under Universal Serial Bus devices or similar, for a driver with the name of your original bluetooth driver. Right click, uninstall, and check the box to delete the driver software. Restart the computer.
Now you have your regular old driver back, ready to connect to your phone or what not.
(Optional) Use Zadig to re-replace the BTH driver with the WinUSB driver

and I was wondering if there is a way to map scrolling wheel behaviour and middle mouse Button to some of the DS3 ones.
Also,
how can i give use to the select and start buttons?
I would like to add a keybind to run/close a program I use often..
Please help
I'm sure someone has tweaked with it..
Is it possible to change keys on the ps3-controller with this program? For an example if I play a game and the game recognize the ps3-controller as an Xbox-controller, can I change so that the L1(on ps3contr) button become the Left trigger button on Xboxcontr instead of the Left bumper button?
