Is this piece of software abandoned by its creator? Scarlet Crush hasn't replied any post for months Wacko
Decided I've had enough of Motion in Joy's bull ***** ads, so after some reservation installed this today.

While I was a bit confused at first about how to install (because of the multiple builds, upgrade install process, new install process), I got everything working perfectly on the first try. Thx Scarlet Crush

Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
I'm trying to play They Bleed Pixels right now, and about 1/3 of the time, when I die, I need to plug-cycle because the con stops responding and infini-rumbles.
As anyone who's played They Bleed Pixels knows: Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn. Also: I die a lot. Like... 40-100 times per level. So this is super annoying for me right now.
Also: I'd search the forum etc, but the internal search system doesn't allow searching WITHIN a thread, and Google gives me jack. Thus I'm left with either paging through 100's of pages, or asking for help. You can understand my desire to do the latter.

Details:
Win7x64.
Plugged in through trusted (SCPMonitor shows Charging/Charged, not 241) cable in trusted (on mobo) port.
Not using BT; although my device fits the qualifications on the list of supported whatnot, its particular revision doesn't support the necessary version of BT. (Suggestion: Add revision numbers to the supported whatnot? That would save hours of peoples' time. Like me, several months ago. I understand that retroactive changes like this are, at best, time-consuming, but 'the greater good,' no?)

On another note: Scarlet.Crush: You are a god. MiJ pissed me off, and Lo! And Behold! Your driver kicks ass. Veeery clever, wish I had done it first. ^_^

And "hello world," or whatever. I'm not a pcsx2 guy, but it has come a loooong way since the last time I tried it. Just have too many other games to play now to worry about emulating the ps2; the system I have the largest number of games for.

I had the same issue with rumble that you did, then I changed USB cables and plugged directly into the computer (no USB hub or cable extension) and the problem went away, though it wasn't as comfortable. I looked into USB-BT options and went with the ASUS USB-BT211 which worked flawlessly right out of the gate.

The ASUS USB-BT400 ($15 on Amazon) replaced that model a while back but it also works great, provided you use the Zadig tool (Scpserver\bin\Zadig) to create a driver for it.
  1. Connect USB-BT400
  2. Open Zadig.exe
  3. Device→Load Preset Device
  4. Select Scpserver\bin\Zadig\Bluetooth.cfg
  5. Options→List All Devices
  6. Select BT adapter
  7. Click Replace Driver

The above trick should also work with your internal bluetooth adapter. If it supports at least 2.1 and EDR, you'll be fine. I've been using the bluetooth driver with both of these adapters (listed) as well as on three of my laptops without issue. Make the switch, even if you have to spend a little money.
Just one question: if a bluetooth is 4.0, it must be also EDR isn't it? I'm thinking of buying one, but first I want to be sure it will do with scp drivers...
Sooo this is a very happy moment for me !!! Smile

First of all BIIIIG THANKS to scarlet.crush

Becouse I have been through much much trouble with my too fake controllers to make it work.
Stayed a few nights long online tried to find solutions but nothing till now...was thinking well lets give it a last try..

Imidiatly I saw changes becouse in the folder I downloaded was much more in it than in those other I downloaded.
This gave me hope again.. but again had difficulties....was trying just the update but the massage was saying that the program
stopped working...but than i went downloaded to full version copied it to the C/program files/scarlet.rush....and then over it I
copied the update and run it as admin and voilla...it works...my fake sixaxis is workin finaly...and also my ps3 hama 00011219 controler also works..

Once more

BIIIIIIIG THANK YOU

P.S.: Registerd just to thank you
I managed to connect my DS3 to my bluetooth dongle and it works. In devices and printers the buttons work fine and scpuser and scp monitor profile manager detects them as well, but not a single xinput game I tried works.

How did you uninstalled the MiJ drivers?

Yeah; I have a BT adapter that's on the list, but isn't actually supported, because my revision doesn't have a high enough version of BT. I just need to get a newer one, and was probably actually going to buy the one you linked to. ^_^
I'll be making the switch soonish, but I'm a broke college kid, lol. Thanks for the info, though; I'm sure it'll be of great use in about a month or so when I actually have money in the bank again.

I remember doing this as well. If I remember correctly, you need to go into the device manager and manually remove the driver for each after a full uninstall from MiJ's uninstaller.
1) open up the start menu and start typing 'Device Manager', and click on the shortcut when it comes up.
2) make sure your DS3 is plugged in, so you can see the device in the list.
3) Find the con in the list of devices, right-click->Properties.
4) Go to the [Driver] tab and click [Uninstall] and follow the prompts.
And hopefully that does it. Repeat these steps for your BT adapter if needed.

In the event that, the next time you plug it in, the MiJ drivers show up again, you might not have gotten MiJ fully uninstalled when you tried to.
If they still show up after doing the DevMgr as above, try this:
1) reinstall MiJ's software
*Note: I think the uninstall guide on MiJ's wiki had detailed instructions on how to uninstall both the drivers and the software.
2) use the MiJ DS3 Tool interface to remove the drivers.
3) then uninstall MiJ's software again.
4) possibly uninstall drivers again using previous method.

I think I had to repeat these steps a couple of times to get them out, but it eventually worked. Damn MiJ doesn't uninstall properly on its own. >.<
Any help with my fake DS3 controller model no CECHZC2H with device ID "USB\VID_0E8F&PID_0208" ???
It's not recognized as a ps3 controllerSadSad
