That's strange as usb works absolutely fine for me. if you have a spare micro usb or usb lying around try using that and see if it still doesn't work. I just tested it out and I'm able to switch usb and bluetooth with ease.
I successfully installed the drivers and everything as well, my computer is reading my PS3 controller fine (shows up in the Hardware section in Control Panel) yet PCSX2 won't recognize it. I don't have a bluetooth dongle so I'm using USB. Also thank you for creating this.
I have followed the instructions. Unfortunately I have run across some issues.
The controller is recognized (as a 360 controller) in Control Panel, but the lights do not come on when pressing the PS button/connected to the PC and it does not register any buttons being pressed.
The controller is an official Dualshock 3.
I am attempting to connect via USB - not bluetooth.
I got this working with my ps3 controller and a CSR 4.0 bluetooth dongle. I dual boot windows and linux and would like to use it on linux too with this
http://qtsixa.sourceforge.net. I have found a few web sites that show how to find the bluetooth keys in the windows registry. I can find one key, but no sub keys. Is it possible to use the same bluetooth dongle in windows and linux ? If so where can I find the key pairs in windows ?

Try with that, but i can say that your problem is your bluetooth adapter, get another one, one that IS compatible you can try with one of those
http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/help/btcompatibility
or one that is bluetooth 3.0 o 4.0, those should be compatible try with ASUS USB-BT400 4.0 i read somewhere in here that it is compatible

I pasted the file Scarlet posted into my directory, and now SCP doesn't start. Good thing I backed-up my dll file... Is there any other way to get this to work without getting another dongle? I know people have gotten it to work with 2.0 before, and I couldn't find anything better... Please, I'm getting seriously desperate now.
Worth noting that I've updated my bluetooth dongle's drivers using Zadig.
How do you connect a second PS3 controller? I successfully connected the first one, and SCP is seeing the second one when plugged in via USB, but the monitor is stuck on "Reserved" for the second one after I unplug its USB.
------EDIT------
My issue was that I had not changed the master address of the second controller to the master address of the dongle. Once I did that, the second controller paired without any issues.
so i haven't been able to get any of my Controllers to work. I have 2 ds3s and a ds4. i have a asus usb bt400 dongle and Windows 8.1. please help me and i'll try to awnser any question you may have. When i install the bus thing the Bluetooth doesn't show up so i'm unable to use bluetooth
