Though there's been this input lag that has driven me to the edge of madness. From what I've been able to gather the input lag in Dolphin is present due to the Xinput wrapper. Using the controller as the default "Wireless controller" direct input device corrects this problem. But obviously using the controller that way is going to cause it to lose compatibility with most other games, and functions.
Do any of you have a potential solution for this dilemma? Is there perhaps a way to automatically disable Xinput wrapper on a per-app basis? I have two bluetooth dongles, and have been plugging/unplugging them based on what I'm playing, but that's such a pain.
I'd greatly appreciate an ideas!
Thanks!
If anyone else is experiencing this input lag issue, I may have stumbled across a fix, of sorts.
If you disable
microsoft device association root enumerator in your Device Manager, under Software Devices, the input lag/delay seems to go away entirely! Now I have not a clue what that software device does, or is for. Though in the last 3 days I haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary.
If anyone has any further insight into this input lag issue, or what the
microsoft device association root enumerator device does, please let me know.
Also here's a link to the forum where I found this suggestion:

also u might want to check "better DS3" it works with MIJ driver...if u cant get ds3 tool running then u can manually install mij drivers from there on "Better DS3" can handle everything.
I downloaded the app you created, but the problem is I don't really understand how it works. You guys were talking about a Z Axis or something, but, all it says are Left Stick X Y Axis & Right Stick X Y Axis.
So since I couldn't figure that out I went to the BetterDS3 site, but no where could I find the MiJ drivers on that site. So, I guess I'm kind of screwed atm, I really don't know what to do.
"Z" axis stands for the analog triggers.
they are considered as "Axis"s
Hello everyone.
I had motioninjoy installed for the last year but when i saw this i ditched it and uninstalled it and followed the instructions to install xinput.
All fine here, but after everything is installed i connect my dualshock 3 and the lights turn on and off for a while and then it turns off.
I tried playing games with 360 support and it doesn't work.
Any advice?
So I have an issue I've been troubleshooting for a while, and I could use some help. I installed SCP and didn't have any issues with using it through USB, but when I unplug it it doesn't connect to bluetooth. While plugged in all the info is there and the bluetooth seems to be working, but it doesn't connect and when I try to manually pair them, the option to turn the device on is grayed out. The dongle I'm using is built into the laptop (Lenovo ideapad U530) and it's ID is: USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC. I have also tried using Zadig with no success.
Trying to troubleshoot a problem here:
I had this working on my machine when it was running win8, but now with 8.1 I can't seem to get it going. I've got the latest version, 1.2.2.175, and it all installs correctly. When I hit the home button the xbox popup shows, and also SCPUser.exe shows I'm all connected and responds to my button presses.
But my computer still lists it as PLAYSTATION®3 Controller, and it won't work with any of my games. Actually in my "Devices and Printers" it shows both "PLAYSTATION®3 Controller" and "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows". Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've included the log files, too.
My problem (I really try and can't get an answer) is that when I disconnect the DS3, the Bluethooth Dongle doesn't recognize it... Then, I just can use my DS3 with a USB cable and I buy this control to replace my wired 360 controller. Can you help me?
As additional information I first use the DS3 with the famous "Motion in Joy" (With many difficulties by the way) and it was recognized by the same Bluetooth Dongle but one day, I unplug the USB cable and then the 4 LED's of the DS3 just blink and then it turn it off. Since that day, I can't use my DS3 with the Bluetooth Dongle
Please people, i really want some help.
Hello, I'm new here.
First of all, thanks for a great piece of software.
Now, I've been having a problem when trying to use my PS3 controller with Project64 ver. 2.1.0.1. The problem I have is I cannot get rumble pak to work. I seem to be able to get Visual Rumble only. I am using N-Rage Input V2 2.3c for configuration. I have tried Jabo's Direct Input and there's no Rumble Pak available from the drop-down menu for Paks.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hey i'm trying to get this SCP service working. The service was working previously but now it's only working correctly when the controller is plugged in. If i click on SCPDriver it doesn't open at all. I'm running Windows 8.1 and opening it as administrator but the application won't open. I also checked the properties to see if it was blocked but it seems to be fine. Any suggestions?
