Hello guys, I've been trying this method, but I'm having a few problems.
I try to open "SCPUser.exe" and it tells me that it can't start because "MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer" I'm using Windows 7 / 64-bit.
Anyone have this?
Thanks.
That definitely helped. Thanks! What can I do now to see if my controller has been detected?
No problem, glad to hear it helped. What I usually do is go into PCSX2 and try to bind my buttons. But you could also open up the SCPUser.exe file you were trying earlier. That should show you the button presses it's seeing on the top-left corner of the screen.
I opened the SCPUser.exe file, and while it worked, it showed my controller as disconnected. I'm currently using a "Snakebyte" wired PS3 controller.
I don't think 3rd party controllers are supported, but go ahead and try binding your buttons in PCSX2 anyway just in case. You might also want to try the other DS3 wrappers in this subforum to see if you get better results.
Hey,
is there any chance this tool will support the DS4-Touchpad being used as mouse controls like the newer Tools do ( ds4tool etc. )
I prefer this one because it simply works ( i'm booting straight into Big Picture Mode ) and the other tools have some hiccups which require me to restart them ( switchting to M+K .. meh ).
But as you know, some games do have an extra launcher or require Origin / Uplay, which force me to switch to the mouse. Using the Touchpad for this actions would be nice.
I see the purpose of this is to make PlayStation controllers behave as closely to X360 controllers as possible, but is there a straightforward way to alter what button presses equate to what in Xinput? Trying this over MotioninJoy it does seem it's a lot less convoluted to start, but the downside of no longer being able to set the PS button to do something useful is pretty big for me.
EDIT: To mention, I at least found a partial workaround.
Here's a program that will turn a press of the X360 Guide button into an arbitrary keyboard press. With this wrapper the PS button acts as the Guide button, so the program is effective here too.
DOUBLE EDIT: Though while the button press is effective while regularly playing Windows, it doesn't seem to work when playing, say, Oblivion. *shrugs*

For some reason, today it works again flawlessly...and I haven't changed anything I know since I tried it yesterday. Any idea on what may be affecting the program?

As far as I can tell
Scarlet.Crush doesn't develop this anymore so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Sorry. :-\
