Tried everything (MotionInJoy, Better DS3, etc. & now THIS) & still does not work. The remote itself is functional, everything works, tested with various programs & also now SCPUser program.
When I try to start "ScpDriver.exe" it just crashes... and shows ".. has stopped working".
My PC specs: http://foorum.hinnavaatlus.ee/profile.ph...le&u=20416
My dongle: http://www.trust.com/en/all-products/155...sb-adapter aka. "USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2148"
.net Framework 4.5.2
XBOX controller drivers from OP.
I did everything from zero according to the instructions.
What I did before installing this:
-uninstalled MIJ, etc.
-uninstalled the drivers for bluetooth & reinstall them (does it automatically via. windows)
-restarted
-followed instructions
also tried this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6DyJfdc8OI ,even though I didn't have the "unlock" option, etc.
all i want is for the remote to work via. bluetooth ;D
After reinstalling my OS (win 7) the drivers installed fine.. I did everything according to instructions and restarted my pc after removing the remote cable from the pc. After restart and bootup the lights on the remote flash and it does not connect to the dongle..
So I'm also attempting to get my Bluetooth to work. It works fine USB'd, but when I disconnect it, it just says the controller slot is "reserved", and it's just greyed out. When disconnected, all 4 LEDs start blinking, but when I plug it in, it stops and just goes to player slot 1.
I know for a fact that the dongle works - it actually used to work flawlessly months and months ago, but has since stopped. I zadig'd it, but still nothing. I've attached my SCPserver log; perhaps something will get cleared up? It looks like I'm just unplugging and replugging my controller, which I am, but...shouldn't it get found by my dongle?
I've already tried installing and reinstalling it a few times, so...
I'm not sure if this has been posted before (this thread is rather lengthy...) but my software spontaneously stopped working properly at some point. More specifically, it seems to be picking up something other than my controller.
Up until (relatively) recently everything worked just fine, but at some point games started picking up a controller when there was nothing there which rendered certain games unplayable unless I uninstalled the SCP drivers since certain games do not accept mouse/keyboard input when they think there is a controller plugged in. Even when I connected the controller (via bluetooth or USB, it didn't matter) these games would be totally unresponsive since they were clearly awaiting input from some phantom controller that I do not have.
I have tried reinstalling SCP several times and even went so far as to reinstall Windows 8.1 from the disc (keeping programs and settings intact, mind) which fixed the problem for all of about a day. I have finally run out of things that I know to try and am not likely to be playing many games in the near future due to university exams, but it would be nice to be able to get this problem dealt with so that I am able to actually use my controller again in two months' time. Any help would be much appreciated! I would like to avoid having to try going back to MotionInJoy since I love how unobtrusive this driver has been.
I tested the program on an Intel NUC with Intel 7260 wifi/BT adapter. This is a newer card than the one in my tablet (BCMBTBUS\BLUETOOTH) but after running zadig it ran fine, picking up the DS3 every time.
I did a lot more testing on the tablet but no luck at all. Is it something to do with built in devices? If there's a chance it will work I don't mind testing things but I don't want to be wasting my time if it's been tried/tested and there's no chance. I noticed from the first post that the program is no longer supported. Does anyone know of a way I could add the BCMBTBUS\BLUETOOTH drivers or force the program to see it? I've seen a few posts in this thread about the same device but can't see an answer on it.
Thanks in advance for any light you can throw on this BT device.
EDIT: I may have to admit defeat on this. It seems good old Microsoft add it's drivers to some built in BT. In the process it also removes the device ID... or that's the way it looks. I know the BT in my tablet is Broadcom but even after renaming the Windows drivers the software still won't install.
I had this service running and a DS3 controller working properly, however, I did a re-install of my windows 7 OS.
Now I cannot get this service installed again.
My operating system and hardware is identical to the old situation.
I redownloaded the files for the wrapper, run the SCPdriver.exe and get the following log:
SCP Driver Installer 1.2.0.160 [4/7/2015 10:16:36 PM]

It seems like my device is not matched, the weird thing is that it used to work earlier...
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Note: I do not care for bluetooth at all, using a usb cable is good enough.
I got everything installed and it shows in scpmonitor and in my game controllers as an xbox 360 wireless controller and it has one light on the dual shock 3, but the only problem is it doesn't recognize any of my button inputs. It does let me press buttons with the usb plugged in but not wirelessly.

Here I have attached the two files you should need. I am pretty sure only ScpControl.dll is needed, but I put ScpServer.exe in there for good measure. The one source file modified was in the ScpControl sub-project so it should be the only one needed. Do me a favor and try replacing just the dll to see if that is the only one needed and tell me if it worked.
Make sure you use the same update procedure as is mentioned in the first post by Scarlet.Crush. Mainly you need to stop the service, replace the files, then start it back up again. Though, you really only need to start it up again if you want it to run in the background and at startup.
I've registered here just to thank you for this, I've been trying to find a solution for a whole day, since I got my BT dongle in the mail.
This should be added to the first post/next update as it could help a lot of people with other than original Sony PS3 controllers.
