I'm having an issue which I believe I'm not the only one: using a dualshock 3/sixaxis, the buttons don't respond to the weakest commands. It happens both with the analog sticks and with the pressure sensitive buttons and as I start to slowly move or press them, the minimal value shown at that test section is around 600. Specifically for the analog sticks, it takes a lot of movement for them to send a message to the software. The result is I'm still unable to play MGS2 or 3 properly. Has anyone had a similar issue? I'm on Windows 8.1 and using USB.

I swear I've searched through a lot of the pages of the thread, but couldn't find anything like this. Thanks for anyone who answers me. o/
Greetings,
First I want to thank SC Productions for this great program. It really is a savior compared to MJ or betterDS3!

You see, I have this weird issue, my pad is functioning with BT but not with cable. I scrolled through most of the posts but didn't find any similar problem/solution. My OS is Vista SP2 by the way.

I tried doing a clean install(removed any other gamepad drivers, installed everything properly but every time it's the same, the BT is working as it should but with the cable or wired while on bluetooth mode the monitor says reserved and nothing happens.

Thanks for any reply in advance. I hope there is a fix to this other than installing windows 7/8.1

Mine had a similar issue, but not as badly. Try doing calibration on the gamepads. When you do, be sure to push lightly on all the buttons so that the calibration tool will try to amplify the inputs. Of course, make sure calibrate the thumbsticks as you normally would or they will be hard to use. It will take a few times to get it right probably. The calibration tool is joy.cpl

Hope that helps.
This will probably be ignored by most people, but I might as well write it down while I am thinking about it. For starters, I have no affiliation with Scarlet.Crush and I am just temporarily working on this for the good of the community, as well as for myself. Second, I am also working on getting these working for Linux as well, so forgive me if I get confused as to which operating system people are using. I mostly use Linux myself, so some of the stuff I say may be coming from Linux rather than Windows. I will try to keep things straight, but the line gets fuzzy sometimes.

Thanks a lot for the reply, man. Unfortunately, I had already tried it, but it didn't work. It seems that my buttons have a high threshold. Also, the calibration tool is focused on the analog sticks and triggers, it didn't help with the directional and the four buttons (square, triangle...). Is it just me who have this problem?
Hey there, I've been having this issue ever since I updated my drivers, and I've searched the high seas and a million questionable forums for a fix, but I can't seem to find anything about it.

Whenever I install the drivers for my Dualshock 3 Controller, it makes it so my headset microphone is disabled, and when I enter the "Sound" tab, it freezes itself, until I uninstall the drivers for the controller, that is.

Is there any known fix for this? It makes me want to cry into my pillow knowing that I can't play games on my PS3 Controller and talk at the same time.

The SCPDriver disables all Bluetooth. If your headset is BT, it will not work on your PC with the SCPDriver installed. You are correct that BT works again when uninstalling the driver. There is no fix that would enable both SCP and the BT drivers to work simultaneously. The one thing you could do to get your headset working again is to use two BT dongles; in affect keeping the SCPDriver installed on our current BT, and having the new dongle act as the connection for non SCP devices such as the headset. If your headset is wired or works on the 2.4ghz wireless frequency, I'm not sure what is causing it to malfunction.
Can anyone explain to me how to use xinput wrapper with pinnacle game profiler? I want to use it with GW2. In device manager, my ps3 controller is listed as an xbox 360 peripheral and within PGP during controller setup all the buttons register properly, but for some reason it won't feed the commands to the game client. I feel like I have tried everything and cannot get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
I have a weird problem. I've been using the USB BT-211 on Windows 8.1 x64 for quite some time now. Now I know there is some Windows update that screws up the driver and makes the BT-211 incompatible, I've experienced it a couple times. Now I did a fresh install of Windows recently and it was working fine. Went to try it again and its not working. Also trying to reinstall the BT-211 driver it says its incompatible. Windows is not set to install any updates nor did it have any installed when I checked the install history. What can I do to get this to work again, I don't want to reinstall windows that's a pain even on a SSD cuz I have a lot of programs. Any help is appreciated, thanks
Hi guys. Been using the SCP tools for a while now very well, played various games and emulators with the controller, and want to thank the creator(s) for their work. I never set up the bluetooth section, as I just play with the cable.

However I stopped using it for a while (was playing other games that don't need gamepads) and now it has stopped working. I have tried completely uninstalling the drivers from ScpDriver.exe and deleted everything, before redownloading the package and using the instructions on this page, but still nothing.

I plug in the controller, and I get the windows device connected sound, the 4 lights at the top turn on, and that's it. the SCP monitor shows 4 "disconnected", the controller doesnt work for anything. I unplug the controller and press the PS button, and it works straight away on the PS3 again. Xbox 360 controllers still work with my PC.

Any ideas to help fix it? I'm on windows 7 (64) with an AMD FX8320 if it helps.
