I made a discovery that will interest those of you using a laptop's builtin bluetooth. I have found that (at least with mine), the SCP driver is incapable of bringing the bluetooth online after waking from sleep. I had to use the original driver and do a sleep/wake cycle to get it powered on. Then I could install the SCP driver again and use the controllers.

Well you can always use something like Better DS3 or xpadder to bind the buttons. If you want to use the PS button also, you'd have to create new direct input setup so that won't probably work on all games.
There are some exes which seem to be able to switch some keys but didn't find what I was looking for.

Code:
net Start "SCP DS3 Service"

If you want the monitor to start automatically, then create a shortcut to ScpMonitor.exe and place it in the "Startup" folder that is in the Start Menu. That will direct it to start when you login.
thanks alot, but how do i make scpservice to autorun?

One dongle can support 4 controllers.

What does your log say? If it identifies itself as a PANHAI controller, you can apply my fix to get it to work. If not, post your logs and we can maybe see whats up.
Hello,

I've been able to install everything but the bluetooth part isnt working. I did install zadig bluetooth and in the monitor it appears the bluetooth address. The ps3 controller works well with usb cable but once I take off and press the PS Button it doesn't connect to the bluetooth. By the way; I got a laptop and has integrated bluetooth adapter (Intel Wireless Bluetooth 4.0).

Is there any way to fix this?

EDIT: So I installed new BT adapter for Intel; then reinstalled zadig and tried the bluetooth and it did work; but once i restarted PC it stopped working again. (if there's anyway to fix this like a workaround I think its pretty much solved).
Hi Everyone,

I've been able to use my PS3 controller both using USB and via BT. Although I have a couple of concerns regarding how it is working:

1. When I use "rumble" and I playing some game that sometimes uses it in a stupid way (e.g: Fifa 15 when the ball hits the goalpost), the controller is disconnected and re-connected again. This kinda annoys me even not impacting the gameplay itself. So I just decided to turn rumble off, but I would like to know if anyone went trhough it and if there is a way to fix this issue.

2. When I am using it via BT, the responsive is way Laggy. I realized since it is a BT communication I should not expect much, but I thought that it might be related to USBV dongle which is an old tiny chinese USB BT Dongle that I've been using for quite some time. So, do someone face the same issue or should I try to get a new USB dongle? If so, which one do you guys recommend?

Thanks a lot for this software, it is being really useful!

Regards

I use my laptop's builtin bluetooth and I found something that may help. With my device, the SCP driver is unable to turn on the BTH interface correctly. Specifically, it cannot wake it from sleep state. If I cannot get it to connect, I have to switch to the original driver and do a sleep/wake cycle and make sure it registers as ON.

It is simple to switch back and forth between the drivers once they are installed. Just head to the device manager and find the dongle in one of the USB sections near the bottom. Open it up and click update driver, but be sure to choose the option to browse the local machine for the driver. The SCP driver will say it has an Authenticode signature and the original driver will (probably) say it is officially signed.

I don't know about the rumble function disconnections, but the response shouldn't be laggy. BTH is how it connects to the PS3, which isn't laggy at all or nobody would use it.
Hi guys,

I would like to use my PS3 sixaxis controller as gamepad with my PC for PC games, no emulator (like shadow of mordor, witcher 3, steam games). I'm trying to set this up but am not very good with technical details.

Can I use this for wired connection of controller to PC, not bluetooth? I don't have dongle and prefer to use controller plugged in.

Does this mirror Xbox360 gamepad, or how do controls work? Do I map each button to keyboard key for each game?

Thank you very much and apologies for my english!
