It s about 6 monthes i'm using these drivers and since then i m having nothing but problems with it. No way they can work on Xp, each time i restart the computer i must uninstall amd reinstalll the drivers, and even so sometimes they don t work anyway. On Windows 7 they work better but i need to use continuously the reset button on the ds3 pad because the joypad stop frequently to function, sometimes even after a few seconds i resetted the pad and the pad started to work again it stop to work and it needs to be resetted. They seem terrible.
Hi all,

I've been having issues lately with the XInput Wrapper and my DS3 controllers. I'm running Windows 10 on a NUC PC I have set up as a media PC. For some reason the controllers become very unresponsive at times, seemingly randomly. The D-pad will stop working, and face buttons have to be pressed EXTREMELY hard for anything to register, and other erratic behavior. Then they'll go back to working fine. I've been through a couple reinstalls of the driver and tried everything I know. I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas. How can I fix or better troubleshoot this issue? I'm using an identical bluetooth adapter to the one I have in another PC where XInput has worked perfectly for years.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Windows 10 64bit

Trying to use Play.com USB DS2 adapter

When I run the Xinput test all button presses register perfectly.

Can't manage to make any drivers work or the server/service etc from this tutorial- nothing will make my adapter work in any game, it just works in the test.

Anyone got any advice for me?

thanks!
I followed the tutorial steps, and while connected it flashes one red light slowly to indicate charging. But once I D/C it won't stop flashing all 4 red lights (presumably until the battery dies). I haven't used it wirelessly yet.

Help!!!

Edit: Holding the PS button for 10 secs worked as a temporary solution [Image: smile.gif]

I wonder if there's an alternative solution (to avoid holding for 10 secs) though? It's going to drag doing that every time.

What does everyone else do? Am I the only one who gets this problem?
Could anyone help me with getting Bluetooth to work? I've got everything installed, followed the directions, controller works via USB, but when I unplug it, the controller never wants to work. I've used it previously via Bluetooth with MotionJoy, and it functioned perfectly fine.

I've tried to do it through just installing Bluetooth when doing driver installation, and through the Zadig method, neither option is making a difference.

Is there anything else that I should be doing?

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, with a 2.0 Bluetooth dongle, and Sony PS3 DS3 controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello everybody, I want to use my PS3 Controller with BootCamp wirelessly, what USB dongle do you recommend that is known to works out of the box using this method?

I was thinking about the ASUS BT400 but I think is a bit expensive, I just want to plug in two controllers and play in my coach.

BTW, does the rumble works out of the box? (so I'd have rumble as if I've a 360 controller playing Tomb Raider 2013?)

Thanks so much in advance.

1. Does non-genuine controller supported with SCP?
2. What is Zadig? I see it being mentioned few times, but its not in the guide in the first page.
3. Does it work with all bluetooth adapter?

Appreciate the answer, cheers!

1. Some. Not all, as far as I understand.
2. Don't know. Not something I have used, apparently. (using a genuine DS3)
3. No. It needs certain features. I believe EDR (enhanced data rate), for one. There should be a list of compatible hardware IDs in the first post. Not that that's of any use before you actually have an adapter to test with.

I've got this one which works, but apparently with these noname products you're not guaranteed to get the same chip every time. I would think it should work, though.

Normally those lights should stop blinking shortly. (after a few seconds or minutes I think) They blink for a bit while searching for a bluetooth connection after you unplug it. I've also had it blink indefinitely at the odd occasion, though. Not sure what causes it.

Did you uninstall MotionInJoy properly? I understand there may be some issues if you do not. Don't know otherwise.

Rumble works out of the box, normally.
