my final fantasy 10 has good fps
your CPU is gapping because you have AMD try OC at 4.0 and GPU is little bit weaker.
try set "High performance" in power options and enable the [Recommended]tagged speed hacks as well, turn clamp mode to none

no his CPU is not gapping any CPU that less than 5 years old at any clock higher than 2 GHz it will be enough it is FFXII

but that GPU stink Tongue

try VU cycling too and native resolution

but he is using AMD,if i was mistaken pcsx2 requires 1.5 of the general requirement for AMD VS. the 1.0 of the general requirement of Intel.

no, plz dont talk about this if ur not rly sure, like abdo says the cpu is good enough, i dont know if the gpu is rly(bad) the cause, in my old system amd 7750 @3Ghz+ati 4550 @512, i play that game @2x scale whith little glitches.

PS to the op plz post ur settings so we can help u

that is not true Phenom II/Athlon II are the same power like any core2duo E7xxx or better
but that core2duo has SSE4.1 Glare

that ratio is only used for something like Sandy against Phenom II

and again this is not general requirement it is FFXII it don't require a decent CPU to emulate Wink

i see that sandy bridge still has a competition on Phenom II
meanwhile i checking this HD5450 it's bandwidth only supported Gddr2,3,Max bandwidth(64-bit),Gflops is around 100s do you think guys that card is a early-entry(weak)

No it isn't LOL.

60.84 FPS - SLUS 20672 - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T - 4.2 GHz OC - UnrealChrisG - CPU-Z Validation
59.59 FPS - SLUS 20672 - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - 3.8 GHz OC - antespo

the 0.4 GHz are just because of SSE4.1 Wink
His cpu is enough at reasonable FPS for FFXII game even without MTVU hack. Main problem is GPU HD 5450 is really weak for that game and become serious bottleneck with his cpu. Only at native res only solution for him to play well without much annoyying.
