As title says, if I upgrade my video card, will I be able to run Dark Cloud faster than 30-50 FPS?
Current Specs:
AMD Phenom II 850 x4 @ 3.3gHz (any more and it sh*ts itself)
Speed: 3315 Mhz
4 logical processors
4 physical processors
Operating System Version:
Windows Vista (64 bit)
Video Card:
Driver: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Driver Version: 8.17.12.8026
DirectX Driver Version: 8.17.12.8026
Driver Date: 3 Aug 2011
Desktop Color Depth: 32 bits per pixel
Monitor Refresh Rate: 75 Hz
DirectX Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Number of Monitors: 1
Number of Logical Video Cards: 1
No SLI or Crossfire Detected
Primary Display Resolution: 1280 x 1024
Desktop Resolution: 1280 x 1024
Primary Display Size: 17.80" x 14.21" (22.76" diag)
45.2cm x 36.1cm (57.8cm diag)
Primary Bus: PCI Express 16x
Primary VRAM: 512 MB
Supported MSAA Modes: 2x 4x 8
RAM: 4094MB
My mobo is a ASRock N68-S which has an inbuilt video card which doesn't seem to be able to be used in conjunction with my 8600 GT.
It's not a good V-card, and I'm getting an upgrade regardless, but I want to know if changing the card will make PS2 games go faster?
Regards,
Sam Lynch
