I read that I need an old version of GSDX to play this right?

I searched google but I cant find the version I need and where I can even get old versions of GSDX. Thanks for any help in advance...
Did you tried it with the latest GSdx first?
If it's not working, just tell me what revision or version it needs.

BTW: you can download older GSdx versions here:

yeah im on gsdx 4.1 and it just like the game shows half a screen...

i think i need r8173 gsdx?

nexxxus have you played silent hill 2?
No I don't have this game.
try one of the hacks in the latest GSdx.

Set "AllowHacks=1" in the GSdx.ini
and try enabling

UserHacks_AlphaHack=1
UserHacks_HalfPixelOffset=1

and maybe
UserHacks_SkipDraw=3
Try pressing F9 and seeing if it displays correctly like that.
yeah but software rendering might also slow down the game a lot if his CPU isn't fast enough.
It still makes for a good tool to bug test. I don't own the game personally, so having a benchmark as to whether software mode works or not would be helpful.
The game play fine in the last svn, im playing right now >_>
I have a graphic question.
I finally got this game working. During the first cut scene(maybe others will have this)
