You didn't read the configuration guide.

Ok. Try various options like setting the clamp mode to none and round mode to nearest in EE and VU Sections. Enable Speedhacks. EE Cyclerate to 2 and VU Cycle Stealing to 1.

Download this PCSX2 and then goto speedhacks and enable the MTVU Hack.

Enable Frameskip to constant of 1, 2 or 2, 2.

Not now that there's a Quick Start Guide for the patience-impared.

It may be best to stick with the current stable release (0.9.8 r4600) if you're still figuring things out. SVNs may come with additional benefits, but also more potential issues.
