Full Version: Anyone noticing the Tales of Destiny DC Freeze problem?

Often and randomly at times the screen freezes but the backround music keeps playing, but then eventually stops all together. This also ALWAYS happens during the FMV too.

The FPS read is still normal however. Oh and sometimes the actual emulator kind of freezes as the controller also stops working and it also takes a few seconds to close down, almost as if it were late response. Funny thing is when this happens, animation is still happening like when something in the menu is highlighted.

Im using

BIOS: Europe v2.20

GSdx 4944 (MSVC 16.00,SSE41) 0.1.16 [GSdx32-SSE4-r4944]
Direct3D11 (Hardware), no interlacing, 6x Native (Apparently it doesn't matter whether it's original ps2 resolution or not. Texture filtering is on, no 8 bit textures.


LilyPad svn (r939) 0.10.0 [LilyPad-r939]

SPU2-X-r872 2.0.0 [SPU2-X-r872]
Settings here are left as is.

Framelimiting disabled, NTSC Framerate 59.94, PAL Framerate 50.0

Speedhacks are enabled with
EE Cyclerate at Default and VU CYcle Stealing at 0
INTC Spin Detection, Wait Loop Detection, mVU Flag Hack, and MTVU hacks are on.

(I Disabled manual game fixes as i hear that the FPU hack isn't necessary until later when i need it.

6x Native may matter. Try changing it to custom of 1024x1024. 6x Native may be too high for your GPU and may cause freezes.
